Travellers are so well provided for here. They have a small kitchen with a microwave, crockery, cutlery and even a selection of glasses. A small desk nook is
part of the room design and there are even bedside lamps!
There is also a large common kitchen & dining area to have your free continental breakfast. As well as this there is a public area with a barbecue.
I get the feeling that the owners have thoughtfully considered all our needs. There is such a spirit of generosity and service here. This motel deserves its good reviews and rating.

Quiet and comfortable rooms. Great to be able to use the BBQ and appliances in the “Dining Shack” to make our own meals. Had an issue with the shower which was promptly fixed by Helen, so my next shower was… excellent. Pool was not huge but super refreshing on a hot day. All in all was a great stay and Helen the Manager makes a fantastic hot breakfast and flat white! Will definitely stay here again.

Oh my gosh, where do I start - Good Old Fashioned Hospitality!!!!!! From the moment I dragged myself in after a long drive Sammy was there - friendly, helpful and welcoming and happily directing me to my room,… which was comfortable, very clean and surprisingly large. Yes, this home away from home caters for mining contractors and FIFO workers primarily, however is a fantastic hidden gem for the business traveller or tourist with all you could need for an overnight or longer stay. Both nights sleep were quiet and comfy; there is a small amount of industrial noise during the day (I was here

Very friendly staff and explain everything well. Got a continental brekky thrown in with the room. Nice touch in the bathroom is a brand new razor in the cupboard under the bathroom sink. Plenty of different pillows to choose from.very clean & tidy room. Bed is extremely comfortable after a full days travel & very welcome. Less then 3 minutes walk to a very nice restaurant across the street. Highly recommended.

The owners are incredibly friendly and helpful. I was amazed by the fact there were four different types of pillows in the room so my partner was able to choose a pillow that suited him. The room was immaculately clean. They included a razor in the bathroom for anyone who had forgotten theirs or whose razor was blunted. I will definitely stay here again if we drive between Brisbane and Cairns rather than fly.

Family road trips and pulling into motels on the side of highways to lay our heads between the long drives was definitely a childhood memory of mine. Some were good, some were on par, and some still haunt my nightmares to this day.

Flash forward: I have no idea what to expect with Biloela's Sun Valley Motel. Lets be honest, most Sydney siders (and funnily enough even a surprising percentage of Qantas airline ground crew) probably have no idea where Biloela is. And neither did I until I was sent that way for business.

I was more than pleasantly surprised with this place, its facilities, and
