Services
Ballet is the foundation of dance. Ballet classes and A.T.O.D. Ltd ballet exams are encouraged in conjunction with other dance styles in Kangaroo Flat, Bendigo. Junior Ballet classes love to express themselves through mime, where we explore & develop their imagination! Classical, Lyrical, Character & Neo-Classical styles are taught.
Sharon Saunders Dancers is proud to be an Affiliate Partner Studio with DanceStep. This program encourages and empowers our next generation of young leaders by providing opportunities for students to assistant teach within certain classes. Working alongside our dance teachers, assistants also study theory from the DanceStep program, providing valuable knowledge in areas such as Anatomy, Safe Dance, Learning Styles and Musicality.

I highly recommend Sharon Saunders Dancers. The adult dance classes are lots of fun with a good balance between the challenge of learning new dance steps and choreography, and the laughter and fun of spending time with friends. My daughter loved Sharon Saunders Dance school. She especially loved the Ready Set Ballet and Ready Set Dance for preschoolers. It was a magical program. I will definitely be enrolling my younger daughter into the program. The teachers are fantastic.

My daughter has been doing Ready Set Dance at Sharon Saunders Dancers for about 2.5 years. The confidence this program has given her, along with the help of the wonderful teachers and staff at Sharon’s, has been priceless. It’s helped in all other areas of her life along with being great fun and helped her make some great friends.

My daughter has been dancing with SSD for the last 8 years. I cannot fault the professionalism and care and commitment Sharon and her team provide to aspiring young dancers. The supportive and friendly family at SSD has developed not only my daughter's dance techniques but her sense of self and wellbeing. At SSD the focus has always been on dance! No competitions, just striving to learn and improve their dance techniques in the wide variety of genres they offer. Which is what learning to dance should be about.

My daughter loves her Ready Set Dance class, her teachers and peers. She has developed so much confidence, coordination and creativity throughout the year, a year where we have gone from dancing freely in the studio, to the lounge room on Zoom, and back again in the studio. My eldest daughter has been attending Sharon Saunders Dancers since she was two. Several years on, it’s still the highlight of her week. And, happily - now her little sister is able to join her!
The organisation, passion, care and communication by SSD staff is incredible. I’ve been particularly impressed by the agility and creativity the SSD team have shown throughout the global pandemic. My girls have really appreciated some stability via weekly Zoom classes, given the rest of their world has been turned upside down.

My son has had the amazing opportunity to dance for Nickelodeon on the Ready Set Dance tv series in Season 2, this would never of been an option for him before attending Ready Set Dance at Sharon Saunders dance studio. His confidence and love to dance has only increased since starting a year ago. Hannah and Annaleise are amazing dance teachers and the kids just adore them! I highly recommend this dance studio for preschoolers.

My daughter has been dancing at Sharon Saunders Dancers since she was four. Now in her 5th year of dancing, she has had the opportunity to try many different styles of dance and develop confidence, poise and physical fitness, all while having fun and building friendships. Sharon Saunders Dancers not only produces dancers with great technical skill, but all dancers become part of the family and are valued for their individuality. Every year I am amazed at the way that the end of year concert gives every child their moment to shine.

The wonderful women teaching at Sharon Saunders studio with the Ready Set Dance program have provided such an amazing experience for my toddler. From including her when she is unsure, praising her participation and showing so much encouragement, watching my child’s confidence in herself grow and grow has been amazing. This program is fantastic for young girls and boys who love to groove and to build their confidence. I love watching my girl sing and dance all week from the things she has been doing in class. Thank you ladies for providing such a positive and fun learning experience for her.

My daughter has been dancing with SSD for 9 years, since she was 2 years old. Sharon and her crew are very professional and all students and families are welcomed and supported in a friendly environment. I like that the school is a non-competition school as the students work together to improve their dance skills instead of against each other. My daughter loves the end of year concert, performing at Ulumbarra Theatre in costume is a highlight and she, along with all the others, shine with confidence and joy.

My daughter loves Ready Set Ballet at Sharon Saunders Dance!
She has been going since she was a little over 2… years old and has loved every class since 😁
