Our team at Brindabella Podiatry Canberra includes seven podiatrists! On reception, we have Darelle Fuller, Charlotte Schumann and Mikayla McNamara. They will welcome you warmly to our clinic. Between them, they have many years of experience in customer service and will do whatever they can to accommodate your busy schedule.
Dry needling is a form of 'Acupuncture' and is useful in treating many lower leg, ankle and foot conditions such as shin splints, peroneal tendonitis, Achilles tendinopathy. If you are suffering with foot pain, limping out of bed with heel pain or arthritis or not running like you used to, it is quite possible that we can help.
Corns and callus are areas of thickened skin that occur from abnormal pressure. The skin protects itself from pressure by getting thicker which creates a callus or a more localised corn. Corns are usually circular and deep and feel like a piece of glass or rock inside. If left too long, the skin underneath may ulcerate requiring urgent podiatry treatment and wound care.
Cracked heels can occur in both men and women and can be extremely painful if not fixed quickly. Pressure - Spending a long time standing at work or home can stress the skin on your heels. We often see Tradies with cracked heels who need to re-assess their socks and boots. Obesity - Being overweight can increase the pressure on the fat pad under the heel.
Diabetes assessments are regularly performed at Brindabella Podiatry and the Diabetes Association does recommend a podiatric review every six months. The reason why it is important to have your feet checked when you have diabetes is because it's common to suffer complications with the vascular (blood) and nerve systems.

I Recently had Surgery on my toes, Simon was outstanding, Couldn’t recommend him high enough,
He really listens to your needs and makes you feel very comfortable! Simon evens follows up a few days after the Surgery which I think is absolutely fantastic!

Came to Brindabella Podiatry after I have had a really bad ingrown toenail. Katie was an absolute gem and the minor surgery was a success. I’ve been attending Brindabella Podiatry since early 2019 and the results have been excellent. Custom orthotics quickly resolved some significant foot pain. However, I was also experiencing a lot of ongoing discomfort from a badly ingrown toenail. I finally bit the bullet and asked Jessica to perform the minor surgical procedure to fix the problem. Once the local anaesthetic had taken effect, the whole procedure was completely pain free and over in no time. I’m a complete sook when it comes to injections and blood but Jessica did a great job and my toe is now well on the road to recovery. Thank

What a wonderful team! We saw them for my 14 year old sons ingrown toenails. From the initial consult, to our follow up appointments after surgery, we received expert knowledge and care. After years of ingrown nail pain, his nails have been completely transformed. We could not be happier with the treatment or results. Had my first ever podiatry appointment with Luke today. He explained the process, listened to me, answered all my questions, and was very thorough in his assessment. Very pleased with the process and made me feel confident that my foot pain would be sorted.

I sought assistance for pain in my toes from Brindabella podiatry. Not only did Jessica assist me with the issue she gave great advice and support in helping me to achieve my goal of Participating in the 35km walk. The team were helpful friendly and supportive even sending me an encouragement text the day before the event. I would highly recommend this service.
