Hotel and room was ok. But one of the front staff named as Jack singh was so rude and racist. He was misbehaving with my friends and when we politely asked him. Is this the way to talk with customers?, then he pretended that he is the owner and manager of the hotel and he told us to leave the hotel using some bad words. Really sad with the customer service. I have never seen such rude behaviour from front staff.

The pool was really nice but everything else was shocking. The rooms look nothing like the photos on their website, they are dirty and have no light so at night it is completely dark. There is no cleaning of the rooms during your stay. The bathroom doesn’t look clean. Wifi didn’t work either. Will not be returning and would recommend avoiding this place if possible. Not worth the money at all

We got a pretty good deal for a deluxe room, location is awesome, staff are really nice. Room is simple but it does the job, TV is huge, WIFI is not bad at all, we watched netflix every night (we’ve been here for 7 nights). Room is a bit out to date and despite of having some stains in the carpet, it looks clean. Bed is comfy and aircon works perfect! Would recommend and stay again.

It is what it is, I stayed in a ground floor room and thought it would be noisy. It was not. The room was clean, except for the back of the bathroom door. Bed was a little hard, but sleep able. Not close to much, but scooters available to hire to take you to waterfront etc. I'd stay there again for the price, but I would probably pay the extra to stay closer to waterfront

I’m not sure what makes it 3.5*, but they got this very wrong. Rooms dated, water damaged, noisy (3rd floor pool facing) great water pressure was a plus though, rooms not maintained once in 7 days, no spare toilet rolls, or rubbish removal. Daily in-house arguments between restaurant & accomodation regards availability of meals. (Work it out between yourselves in-house - one night dinner is on a plate, the next its in a takeaway box with no cutlery provided) One working washing machine in guest laundry. If I was paying I would change hotels rather than spend another week here.

Management is shocking, telling us the pool is closed at 7:30pm (open till 10pm everyday) with no explanation, toilet was not clean and had poo stuck in it when we checked In, rooms are not noise proof, air cons terrible and slept bad, fan fogs up the shower straight away even though shower pressure is good. After the lockdown they would not let us in pool area as “not sure what we are aloud to do.........” waterfront, other hotels and casinos pools are all open, we are aloud in BUT and obviously they have records of guests staying but the management are so stupid they have no idea what is

It has the potential to be great!
But the renovations should be done in the rooms, instead of making the lobby and bar look good. And being such a small town, and covid I love supporting local business. But I will never step foot in there again. I hope you get all your renovations done and thrive eventually.

Little hesitant staying here after seeing the reviews however the hotel must have been renovated and new owners since then pleasantly relieved. Work takes me on the road alot and rural alberta hotels are a hit or miss. Will be booking here again. Was clean and one of the quieter rooms I have been in. Couldnt hear other guests walking around or TVs through the walls extra bonus.

I’d use the term hotel very loosely when describing the Frontier. The check in process was stressful as reception staff clearly had what seemed like absolutely no prior training. We were given the wrong directions to our room and given no information about services the hotel provided. Although the room was clean on arrival and relatively spacious,… we weren’t offered any kind of room service during our stay. No fresh towels or bedding, no cleaning products to clean our bathroom with and no one emptied our bin for the entire 6 days we stayed at the “hotel.” We spoke

Disturbingly bad but common for rural Alberta unfortunately
I was walked in on while getting ready in the morning by a creepy old male in sweatpants (their maid) who said that the room was stating as being a checkout. Well checkout is 11am and it was 8am.
It would be nice if people took more pride in the way things looked even though I imagine income for the property is low.

When I called to see if there were any rooms available for the night, the desk person was very rude, have me a humph and hung up on me when I said I'd call back in a few minutes to book it after I called my husband who needed the room. Very unprofessional! I would not recommend booking with this hotel even in a pinch!
