The three properties provided by Shoreham Beach Houses combine not only a perfect base for exploring the diversity of the Mornington Peninsula landscape and activities but importantly an accommodation experience that reflects personality, craftsmanship, time and the design philosophy of Christopher Alexander and Wabi-sabi.

A style of design and decor which makes people feel comfortable and revitalized. Le Pavillon (Handcrafted), Shoreham Beach House (Contemporary) and 2 (Classic) are all within close walking distance of each other and Shoreham's quiet beaches and township, and a short drive to the best wineries and eateries the peninsula has to offer.
Services
Le Pavillon is a handcrafted two storey mudbrick and stone "gite" on the outskirts of the quiet coastal village of Shoreham but within easy reach of all the Mornington Peninsula has to offer. It captures the architectural philosophy of Christopher Alexander in his book "The Timeless Way Of Building".
After reading Earth Garden magazines in the student union building at Monash University in the mid-seventies I became aware of the concept of owner building and the owner builder. Like most Australians I wanted to be a home owner, but was afraid of the concept of the mortgage. One of the references in Earth Garden was 'Owner Built Home' by Ken Kern.
