Plaque is the clear sticky film that builds up on the surface of your teeth and tongue. It contains thousands of bacteria in a sticky matrix that helps them adhere to your teeth. The trouble with plaque is that the bacteria produce acid and other noxious chemical substances. If plaque is not cleaned away quickly enough, it can calcify and form a hard substance called calculus (or tartar) that can't be brushed away.

Had my first ever tooth extraction performed by Dr Sean and it couldn’t have gone any better. I was very nervous coming in but Dr Sean was incredibly reassuring and made sure I was okay throughout the whole procedure. Can’t recommend Tansey street dental enough!

Wow as we all know dentists are not our favourite places to visit. But attending this dental surgery is a pleasure. Great friendly staff with Freddie being our hidden gem. He is amazing at what he does with the kindest, sweetest nature.

I have been going to this dentist surgery for 10 years. All the dentists are great and professional. My dentist is Roslyn and she is so patient and accomadating to me as I hate any pain and my teeth are very sensitive . She has completed and done some extensive work on my teeth and done a really great job and I always feel confident when I get into her chair.
I visited Louise the hygienist today and what a professional lovely experience it was. She's great at what she does and I highly recommend you book a visit with her.
