Jewellery Collective is located at the Old Ambulance Station in Nambour on the Sunshine Coast. With a reputation as the leading Jewellery School in South-East Queensland, Jewellery Collective was founded in 2017. Over the past 4 years, we have gone from teaching mostly beginners to now focusing on wedding ring workshops, as well as intermediate and skill-based workshops taught by visiting teachers.

Jewellery Collective offers two wedding ring workshops that use a range of traditional jewellery techniques - you can even recycle your old gold! Under the expert guidance of a professional jeweller, you will learn to measure, cut, shape, and finish your wedding rings to perfection.
Jewellery Collective delivers private, one-on-one and jewellery making workshops for eligible NDIS funded participants. Our private workshops are tailored as one or two half-day workshops depending on the student's budget and personal preferences. Our jewellery making workshops aim to build fine motor skills and independence in a safe, supportive, and creative environment.

Such a unique and rewarding experience to make your own rings, and to do it two days before our wedding. We ordered our gold through Kim and started with our very own little ingots! we ended up with two fantastic polished rings! Kim was so welcoming and enthusiastic and was just as invested in the outcome as we were which made it more special. We had a great day learning a little about jewelry making and would definitely recommend to anyone looking to do something memorable for each other and its something Mia and i will never forget. From the initial enquiry about making our own wedding rings to the workshop day of creating them with amazing guidance from Kim. This workshop is worthwhile and memorable. My partner and I loved learning about the techniques involved, enjoying the food platter whilst also listening to sweet tunes. We can't wait to be officially wearing our bands on our special day. Must do! Fantastic experience creating our wedding rings!! We did the forged in Love workshop and will cherish our rings and the experience of creating them together for life. Kim was a great teacher and let us do most of the work...with her expertise to help us make sure the rings were perfect. It was awesome to see a rectangular block turn into ring throughout the day. We could choose which look and finish we wanted and tried different techniques with hammering and texturing. If you want something polished or more rustic these options were available.

My fiancé and I were looking for a more personal alternative to simply purchasing a wedding ring. Kim’s work shop was just what we were after, a full day course where we were involved the the whole process, from smelting the gold granules into ingot bars, to rolling and hammering the metal into rings. All along with wonderful conversation and nibbles with Kim. We had so much fun, and the results were above and beyond expectation!

What a amazing experience to birth our very own wedding rings. Kimberley is a fantastic host/teacher and makes for a very special process.

Kim, owner of the Jewellery Collective is such a fabulous and lovely teacher.
My husband and I did the "Make your own Wedding band" workshop at the Jewellery Collective.
It was such an amazing day!! There is so much symbolism and love knowing that the one you love made (with the help of Kim) the one ring you will be cherishing for the rest of your life.
The workshop was so much fun, interesting and romantic!! Kim was amazing every step of the way. We wanted a specific metal for the rings, and Kim kindly ordered it for us .. she even thought about organising different thickness for my husband

Had a fabulous experience last Friday in the beautiful light, airy and professional Jewellery Collective workshop run by the vivacious and talented Kim. The two hour course was hands on and eye opening - I came away with a beautiful handmade ring and I'll never look at silversmithing the same way again! Thanks Kim - highly recommend this to anyone - young/old/creative or not!
