I have been visiting this venue for many years now and have always been very impressed with the accommodation, location, and most helpful management. We have been coming out to Townsville from the UK for some years to visit relatives and holiday in Queensland and would not consider staying in any other accommodation.
The complex is ideally situated on the Strand in North Ward a few metres from the sea and has a smart, clean attractive frontage. Our two storey apartment suits us perfectly with the described facilities being to a high standard and well maintained - very good value. I have used Townsville Seaside Apartments on the Strand as my base for work visits to Townsville for the past 3 years.

Located opposite the award winning Strand beach Townsville Seaside Apartments is perfect for holidays, business trips or accommodation when relocating to Townsville. The apartments are operated by the owners who have over 24 years experience in the accommodation industry and provide extra personal service to their room guests.
Upon payment in full of your accommodation and booking fees, keys will be issued to you on arrival. All guests are responsible for the safekeeping of accommodation keys/remote controls and call fees are payable if a replacement key is required. All keys/remote controls are to be returned. Any missing keys or remote controls will be replaced and the cost charged to your credit card.
Directly opposite the apartments is the beach with 3 kilometres of breathtaking scenic walkway with children's playgrounds and BBQ's located along the Strand. To the left of the apartments we have a manmade rock pool which is very popular swimming & fishing location. Next to the rock pool is a huge parkland at Kissing point which is ideal for picnics, walks along the boardwalk, visiting the military museum and letting the kids play.
There is lots to see and do around Townsville. Below are some of the things we can assist with. In the main reception office is a tourist information board which shows the many tourist attractions our city has to offer. With everything at your door step come and stay at the Townsville Seaside Apartments for an enjoyable and relaxing holiday or work trip having all the essentials required in your own apartment.

We booked this accommodation after having another place fall through at the last minute and leaving us in a bad position unable to return home due to the flooding. They were more than accommodating at the last minute and even arranged an early check in for us.
It has everything you could possibly need, unlike the hotel we’d previously been staying in at a much higher rate. It is also much cleaner. It’s the first time I’ve felt comfortable showering away from home.

Stay away. I needed to cancel my booking as my son is very ill. Owner was only concerned that he lost money. I apologised and advised we can't help what has happened and we are devastated as our boy will not be competing in state athletics. We are $3000 out of pocket from flights. He than advised me he is the only one that has missed out as he could of let out our room. I apologised again and he was still very rude. My husband has decided to still fly up with our other son. So we contacted another hotel in the same area who were very professional not like this motel. Very dissapointing considering

I am perhaps one of few people who stayed here during the Christmas and NYE period of 2015/2016. And what an event NYE was. There was, unfortunately, a woman staying a few apartments down from us who at first had three or four visitors and by the time NYE clocked around, half of her tribe had descended on the Townsville Seaside Apartments. She and her family were obviously not known for handling their alcohol in the best of ways. What later ensued was a large brawl spilling across the driveway of the complex and two rather relaxed police officers who came to survey the area long after the tribe

Location is good. Main bed was very uncomfortable and the two single beds were not long enough for our teenage children. On questioning this we were told the beds were only 2 years old and all the units were the same. Upon requesting a late checkout of half to one hour I was told absolutely no way which was disappointing as I had no vehicle. The units are dated and the bbq area uninviting. The host made us feel it was an inconvenience to be staying there. Plenty more options available for the same money. A disappointing experience for our family.
