Finn Podiatry will treat many lower limb related issues from foot, ankle, leg and knee pain to general foot care such as nails, corns and callus. Our clients range from children to seniors and cover conditions associated with sports, biomechanics, paediatrics and diabetes. We currently operate out of Fig Tree Health Clinic, located in Atherton.
A biomechanical assessment involves measurement of joint motion and alignment. We also perform gait analysis and muscle strength testing as part of an overall assessment to help guide diagnosis and treatment. Orthotics (or shoe inserts) are orthopedic devices that may be required to help prevent abnormal motion and are incorporated into a comprehensive treatment plan.

Services
A comprehensive approach to musculoskeletal pain is critical in achieving successful outcomes. Foot mobilisation and manipulation - manual techniques applied to the joints in the foot, ankle and leg to increase range of motion and reduce pain and inflammation. Trigger point dry needling - acupuncture needles are inserted into areas of tight, knotted muscles (trigger points) associated with your condition to help reduce pain.
