Hosts go out of their way to help out. Rooms clean and tidy, everything you need is there . A little dated but all you need for a good price.

Don’t be put off by the large bandicoot and somewhat spartan interior, this is one of Hamilton’s best food spots. Serving a good variety on the menu, the meals are amazing. Definitely what the Europeans call a Gastro-Pub (as in gastronomic).
If you’re a lamb lover, definitely try the cutlets.
I have never stayed at the motel, so cannot comment on rooms, but the food is not to be missed.

Harry the host ensures guests are well looked after. Meals good size, yummy and reasonable price. Menu about right size for this restaurant.

Made to feel welcome. Tariff excellent. Covid had the restaurant closed. Meals were delivered to room. Meal prices at normal, meals great and generous. Room good, and and Netflix included. Travelling this way highly recommended

Stayed here over the easter weekend for a couple of days. I opted for the queen room and the room had it's own toilet and shower room. For cooling it had an ac as well which is a bit noisy but gets the work done. The tv en suite had local channels and sufficient for me to pass the time. Other amenities included plates, glasses, tea and coffee facilities, kettle, microwave. The inn has its own restaurant which I didn't use much so can't say how the food is but the bar being a standard one should be good. The manager and the staff are super friendly and helpful. About your average cheap accommodation. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Room was adequate if not entirely comfortable. Air con was noisy and straight out of the 60's but worked okay. Not the best stay in a heat wave though.
Oh, and the shower head changes colours.....
Make of that what you will.

If your looking for a disabled room don't bother. Small, very small. Couldn't move around inside.
Dead bugs in draws, shower wasn't up to scratch either.
When seated in the shower everything is out of reach.
Internet was non existing, and no Foxtel as advertised for free. Not happy at all.

Had the pleasure of staying here Boxing Day. Would definitely stay again. Owners are amazing the rooms are comfortable and situated in a quiet area 😊
