You sooo don't want to pull down the blinds with that view! It can't be missed! I think it should be renamed Chris's treetop villas. As for the restaurant - great food, great wine and damn fabulous service. We were a little 'disheveled' by the time we stopped for dinner after a big sight-seeing day and the wonderful service got us sorted.

What a magnificent place. Service was superb And the food even better. The gentleman who took my booking remembered me on arrival and we were made to feel very welcome. The views are unbeatable and everything we ate was top notch. It wasn't cheap but very reasonable for what we ate I loved this place. My favourite restaurant ever. Thank you.

Not for vegetarians. We called in advance and were told the menu was vege friendly. Server enthusiastically let us know they’d do something special for the vegetarian main meal option. Everyone else at my table of 6 had a beautifully presented meal. I had a plate that consisted of a side salad, a side of steamed veges, 2 little fritter things, and some scoops of the same dip we had with bread for entree. It was a massive let down that zero consideration had been given to vegetarian diners. What about some vege moussaka? Stuffed capsicum/zucchini? Vege souvlaki? Spanakopita? Spanakorizo? There’s

Having previously dined at Chris’s in its heyday and enjoyed a 5 star experience; we returned and were extremely underwhelmed by the quality of the food and service. With only 8-10 diners and 4-5 waiting staff on Friday night, we had to ask for bread; water; a second glass of wine; plates were not cleared and let’s not talk about the food – very dry slow cooked lamb and tasteless Spanish Mackerel!! The waiting staff decided it was better to gather at the kitchen door and engage with the kitchen team in raised voices continuously, instead of servicing the customers. We had to continuously

For a first visit in Apollo Bay, this greek restaurant is the only decent place we’ve tried so far. Great views indeed by the windows. You can’t go wrong with their seafood (mussels and trout), not to mention their breads (soft and fluffy on the inside). Unfortunately the souvlaki I ordered went abit close to overcooked (Bit hard to slice even with a meat knife), nevertheless the flavours are there. Their staff are accommodating, not to mention the man who approached us outside when we arrived, who I thought was just a random friendly customer, turned out to be the owner and chef of the place

As you as you arrive in the car park, delicious smells of the possibilities inside makes you immediately salivate in anticipation.
This is one of the only fine dining options in Apollo Bay - even with a captive audience, they do great to keep punters coming back! They have accommodation on site, though we came especially for dinner.
For entrees we had mussels and the chargrilled octopus. The mussels were piping hot and delicious - the homemade dip on the side was super tasty! Chargrilled octopus was very tender, seared with tahini and a fun sweet potato and chickpeas combo.

A special fondness for this place. The view overlooking the Bay is unmatched. It's kinda like you're looking out from a treehouse in the hills. I've heard there have been times when you can actually see koalas from the window while you dine although we didn't see any that night. The owner has been with the restaurant for years, this is his life and he still gets in at 7:30am to oversee preparation. My guess is that he loves what he does and this is who he is and that sentiment is felt in the restaurant. It's kinda like you're his guest and we are eating out of

Beautiful restaurant overlooking the coast in the Skene's Creek/Apollo Bay area. The view alone is worth the journey.
Loved the Greek wine selection and meze plate for starters. Both mains the arrived at our table were beautifully presented with the ocean trout a winner over the beef neck ragout. The cardamon creme brûlée and chocolate mousse perfect ends to our meal.
Easily the best restaurant in this region.
