There doesn’t seem to be enough words to explain my praise for this store!
In the midst of the COVID pandemic and with the shops closed, we were at a loss to organise a special piece for our daughter’s 21st birthday.
Being 3 hours away I reached out to Matthew’s via email, and I am so glad I did.
The staff were amazing, helpful and accommodating, giving us options and suggestions and nothing was ever too much trouble. The result was a beautiful ring, absolutely stunning and even better than we had imagined - which will be treasured for many years to come. We won’t shop anywhere else

We have been shopping at Matthews Jewellers Kotara for many years now including both my engagement and wedding rings. After purchasing a beautiful necklace which was a little too long (new baby who could pull on it!!), I emailed Adam from customer service and asked if I could alter the necklace slightly. This time was the middle of Covid and not only did the wonderful people at the jewellers alter the necklace so I could wear it again but I didn’t have to pay for any postage. Adam would always respond so quickly to my emails and was very helpful. Would recommend this service to anyone who wishes

I (male) walked into the store looking for something special for my lady. I was assisted by a wonderful staff member “Nicola” who listened to my plight and then steered me towards some excellent and unusual silver bracelets hand made by Daniel Bentley.
I presented my gift and she was absolutely blown away. It required resizing which was undertaken at no charge. Why do we shop online and systematically destroy wonderful retail outlets such as this. Thank you Nicola and thank you Mathews.
