Orthodontics is the branch of dentistry focused on the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of problems in alignment of the teeth and jaws. Many patients are not aware that adults, as well as children, can be treated by an Orthodontist. In fact, Castle Hill Orthodontics specialises in the treatment of adults, often in conjunction with both your dentist and other dental specialists.
Your initial consultation at Castle Hill Orthodontics is divided into two appointments - a first and second consultation. During your first visit to Castle Hill Orthodontics we will examine your teeth, mouth and face. We will answer any questions you may have about your orthodontic health and treatment and we will get to know you.
Castle Hill Orthodontics offers a complete range of specialised orthodontic treatments. These may range from simple removable plates in children all the way through to advance surgical orthognathic correction in adults. All of your treatment will be conducted by Dr Jonathan Chi personally from start to finish.
For many people going to the dentist can cause a great deal of stress and anxiety. Castle Hill Orthodontics is pleased to offer Sleep Dentistry or Intravenous Sedation. Apprehensive, anxious or gagging patients can now relax, lay back and comfortably experience pain-free and stress-free dentistry. IV Sedation refers to the use of sedatives administered intravenously to calm and relax a patient prior to and during a dental appointment.
Though an orthodontist can enhance a smile at any age, there is an optimal time period to begin treatment. Beginning treatment at this time ensures the greatest result and the least amount of time and expense. The Australian Society of Orthodontists recommends that the initial orthodontic evaluation should occur at the first sign of orthodontic problems or no later than age seven.

The service here is absolutely fantastic. After getting braces at the ripe old age of 13 (and failing to wear my plate after they were removed), I needed some minor adjustments before my engagement party as some of my teeth had unfortunately moved. Dr Chi recommended Invisalign, and it's quite possibly one of the best decisions I've ever made. I heard mixed reviews from friends and family about invisalign, but trusted Dr Chi's advice and i haven't looked back since. It saved me the trouble (and cost) of getting veneers. Thank you so much!

Received a phone call the day prior to our appointment, asking if we were attending. Confirmed we were. Upon arriving 10 minutes early, the waiting room is overflowing with 4 clients left standing. We have now been waiting for over 30 minutes, with no explaination as to why. No apology given either. This is the 3rd time they have been runnng late. Receptionist with short red coloured hair & glasses is rude, condescending & unhelpful. When asked by another client where their other office is located in Penrith, she stated, “I don’t live in Penrith, I live in Bankstown, so I can’t help you.”
