Our practice is driven to create an experience that is client focussed, economically and environmentally sustainable. We challenge ourself to create architecture that is sensitive to place, resistant to trends and most importantly has a sense of identity to suit its occupants. Our projects are characterised by an expression of a buildings structure and palettes of natural, locally sourced materials designed to be maintenance free.

We create internal spaces that are flooded with natural light, connected to outside, and have a sense of fun with materials and spatial planning. We sketch extensively, exploring multiple options for each project. We build a story board of ideas and precedents unique to each project and involve the client in all of the early decision making.

We have been engaged to build a new extension to a stunning limestone farmhouse in Mount Gambier. Set on a 40 Acre rural property the client's have requested a light filled open living space that creates a better connection to the surrounding landscape than the current farmhouse offers.

We have created a bold extension that acts as a counterpoint to the existing house, orientating a new pavilion with its long elevation to the north and south, allows us to open up the northern facade to a protected lawn area.A pop up veranda announces itself as the entrance to visitors and carries you into a new pavilion sitting next to the existing house right through to the outside entertaining area.
We have been engaged to provide an extension to an existing 1960's house in Seaview Gardens. The home owners are keen gardeners and enjoy spending as much time as possible outdoors. We have tackled the modest budget by trying to keep as much of the existing residence intact to minimise demolition, particularly as the residents wish to live in the house during renovation works.
Engaged by a committee made up of local sporting clubs at the Naracoorte Sporting Complex we have provided a masterplan for a new 2-court basketball and netball stadium. The new stadium will house a new foyer, dedicated seating for 200 people that can be expanded to 500 capacity seating to allow Naracoorte to host major basketball and netball meetings.
An exciting project for an owner builder, we have created an extension to an existing 1950's brick house in Warradale. The clients only request was a light filled extension to allow their house to grow with their family. We tackled the extension by breaking through the existing house's kitchen wall and extending towards the north creating a large living pavilion that connects a refubished kitchen with a new dining and living space.
The original house 'Holstein is a heritage listed house, and is grand in scale, however the cellular-ised rooms do not allow open living. The clients desire a light spacious extension that connects the kitchen space into the rest of the house. Our solution has been to place a large floating box over towards the living space that will house the new master bedroom, ensuite and large study.
