The team at The Bead Shed travel every three months, thus ensuring customers have access to the most up to date offerings that are available.
Want to learn basic jewellery design or repairs? Why not come and join us for one of our weekly beading classes on site upstairs and learn all the basics you need to create the jewellery you really want to wear. Maximum seven per class. Class cost is $25.00 and you get to control what you would like to make on the day.
The Bead Shed is located within the Carrara Markets, the biggest permanent weekend marketplace in Queensland. Centrally located at Carrara on the beautiful Gold Coast, only a stone's throw from Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach. If you are travelling from Brisbane southbound, take the Gooding Drive exit 77 on the M1/Pacific Highway.

I went there with my partner to get some hardware for making earrings. The staff members were very nice and helpful! There are a wide range of products, and they helped us search for what we needed, and even gave us a surprise discount (we were buying a lot of stuff). Will definitely come back again!

This place is like an Aladdin’s cave of all sorts of beads, chains, pearls, clasps and everything you need to create your own style of jewellery.
The staff are very helpful and will often (depending on how busy they are) fix the necessary clasps to your chain (or whatever) to make it into a jewellery item.

My step daughter and I had a 4 hour jewellery making class with Marie today and it was wonderful. Marie is very knowledgeable and takes the time to listen and help you work out what options might work best for your taste. I thoroughly recommend Marie’s classes which run on Wednesday’s and Saturday’s and represent great value for money. The ladies in the shop are lovely too. Thank you Marie for a great time.

I purchased many items today but before I did I was given excellent service with knowledge it was amazing so I purchased what I selected and at the checkout I was again treated so very well and my items were put in bags. Stood waiting to be served for ten minutes while an elderly staff member chatted away with a friend and arranged a display half a meter away from us! What made it worse that another staff member encouraged a customer she was assisting to push in front of my daughter who had been standing there waiting! So disappointing as I was so excited to get some beads!

I went to The Bead Shed for the first time today, plenty of parking close to The Bead Shed. I am making jewelry for myself and needed some help with getting set up.
