Culburra Beach Motel is situated within walking distance to the Beach, Local Cafes, Restaurants, Club and shops.

The Motel is an easy couple of hours drive from Sydney or Canberra and just 15 minutes from Nowra on the NSW South Coast. Culburra Beach Motel was GOLD Listed in 2018 and again in 2019, which places us in the top 10 Motels in NSW and AUSTRALIA! The previous owners are now Semi retired but Gail and Grant O'Regan will be back to do the Relief Management position.

Our Area Report

We are surrounded by 3 bodies of water, Culburra Beach beach has 17 access points, some with toilets, carparks and playgrounds. Warrain Beach has another 2 access points and is Patrolled by the Nowra-Culburra S.L.S.C. Then we have Lake Wollumboola which opens up to the Ocean throughout the year has a boat ramp and is ideal for Fishing, Prawning (which we have been catching since I was a child), Kayaking, and is abundant with Birdlife.

Culburra is just a short 20 minute drive from Nowra and only a couple of hours South of Sydney. Our little beach community is well serviced by a fantastic range of shops, cafes and restaurants, but the surrounding area is also well worth exploring. Most importantly, Culburra Beach Motel is only a short drive from all the top local attractions!

Just had the best stay in this wonderful motel. The place was spotless and Tim and Maureen are fantastic hosts. Rooms are spacious with all the comforts of home. An easy walk to the beach and town. Great BBQ area and beautiful gardens. I certainly recommend this place and look forward to returning.

I stayed at this motel in March 20 and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay! The room was quaint & the area its located in is superb next to several beaches, lighthouse, bush walks, cafes but the best thing were the people who managed it, extremely friendly & very accomodating!

Great Motel stayed 6 days with my wife and 2 adult kids over Xmas 2020. Rooms are extremely clean and well maintained. Great little kitchenette with everything you need to cook and good size fridge. Location is in a very quiet neighbourhood. Tim and Maureen (hosts) are so friendly, helpful and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. Motel is very close to the beach and shops (including Woolworths). We will definitely be back! Highly recommended!

This is not a checkin, get handed keys and pointed out the door kind of place. This is a hands on friendly beautiful motel. We checked in, were shown to our room, and given very helpful recommendations for breakfast and dinner. Very impressed by how clean and spacious the room was! It shows when owners care about their place and guests. Plus only a 10min walk to beach, I would highly recommend this place.

Really nice family feel to the hotel. I received a great summary of what to do in the Shoalhaven area upon arrival, and the room was nicely laid out, clean and comfortable. Pleasant quiet location not too far from the beach and the main shopping strip.
