I am in Melbourne temporarily from the NT and called RUBI hair on the recommendation of my Darwin hairdresser. I am very appreciative that they managed to fit me in at quite short notice.
The staff were warm and welcoming and the service they provided was excellent. I am very happy with the result. Had my first appointment at Rubi hair and had an amazing experience! The hair stylist really knew her stuff. She gave me fantastic advice about my haircut, styling, what products to use, and how I should apply them.

Adrian at Rubi Hair was great. I appreciated his patience when I was unsure about length as well as his advice. I love the cut. I also thought it was really nice that as a new customer I was given a voucher for my next cut, on my way out. I'd have been back anyway but that sweetened the deal 😏Thank you

Oh my where did Do i start, first time visiting Rubi hair was just amazing & welcoming, my senior hairstylist Lesley she was just amazing, she listen to what I wanted to achieve and guess what she worked her magical hands and gave me the best haircut I had ever and not to forget the best fringe I had in 4 years. Katie took the time to discuss the pros & cons regarding colour as I want to blend my grey with some warm highlights.. she suggested and showed me the colours that I decided to go with..and I must say, my hair looks healthy, warm and gorgy.. love it and I am already booked in for my next appointment in February. My expectations were very much exceeded! This was my first time at Rubi Hair and one of the reasons I chose to try it out was their welcoming philosophy. Even with the pressures of reopening in a “covid normal” world, the entire team ensured my experience at Rubi Hair was comforting. I tend to visit a hair stylist once, grow out the style and have to find somewhere else to go six months down the track when my hair is resembling a mullet from the 80s. As such I rarely see the same stylist twice.
This changed when I visited Rubi and had a great cut care of Emma Lee. My difficultly curly hair was dealt with beautifully and my new low maintenance hairdo was exactly what I wanted. I've been three times in a row now and believe me when I say that this is the longest relationship I've had with a hair stylist in my life.
High praise! Give them a go.

I payed for an "advanced stylist" who gave me a bloody ordinary haircut and sold me a product that left me with severe scalp itch. 5 days later I rang back and said I just wasn't happy (the first time in my life I had ever done this) so they gave me another appointment to go back and get it fixed.

I like Rubi because they are as good as all the Boutique salons located around the Windsor/ Prahran area but the price for most services is a little bit less. They offer a wide range of services from Keratin Treatments, Hair Extensions, Professional Make Up and of course Cut, Colour and Blow Wave. I have been treated by most of the stylists on staff and they all do an incredible job. I found they really took the time before and during my treatment to make sure they fully understood my requirements and also made sure I was happy with the way it was progressing.
