BUYER BEWARE. I paid a hefty deposit and waited, and waited and waited. Excuse after excuse came and finally so did the fence. It was built with WET MOULDY WOOD, I kid you not. No it was not raining nor had it been all day. The nails were not hammered in a straight line and some were left sticking out. I am gutted.
Im no chippy, yet I do know the result of using wet wood and hammering nails into wet wood. Shame on you Fence Shop.

Been waiting 5 months for a fence to be constructed.
THE FENCE SHOP cancelled the original date, then cancelled the 2nd date, and is now avoiding calls and the 3rd date will likely not go ahead.
On top of this, wrong colour was ordered.
This is the 2nd job we've done through them & the initial job was misquoted and we were overcharged.

Dealing with this business has been nothing short of traumatic. No words to describe how awful their customer services has been. Worst communication imaginable. Several months of chasing emails and phone calls and most of the time they would never return phone calls despite saying they would. In fact we're still waiting to hear about why our 3m fence posts were only set 300mm under ground instead of the standard 600mm? I'm sure our fence is built to Chinese standards but I can't bear to deal with these incompetent morons one more day so will have to let it go. Sometimes it felt as though they didn

After 3 weeks of failed attempts by The Fence Shop to install our fence and enduring complete incompetence and unreliability, we cancelled the contract. They've unethically and illegally refused to refund our deposit and remove their own partial materials from our property, despite absolutely no work being done whatsoever. According to the ACCC they've violated numerous Australian Consumer Laws in doing so, plus our lawyer discovered their contract with us was invalid from the beginning (outdated and not current QBCC requirements, etc.). Our lawyer's demand letter was also ignored
