Services
Francis & Torrens was opened by Peter J. Francis Solicitor in 1985. Peter J. Francis was one of the first solicitors to have seen the need for a reduced cost conveyancing service, in comparison to the fees generally charged for conveyancing. This was achieved by introduction of computerised and streamlined procedures, which were uncommon in the mid 1980's.
Buying a home for the first time can be a daunting process. In fact it can be stressful even for those who have bought sold properties many times. We at Francis & Torrens will ensure that from the initial step of signing of the Contract of Sale through to the final settlement, you are receiving the most professional and thorough conveyancing from our staff.
If you are looking to sell a house or land, Francis & Torrens can assist you from the moment you decide to put it on the market. Our staff will ensure that all the property information relating to your sale is included in the Section 32 Statement prepared on your behalf and that it is done as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Horrendous.
I have worked with 4 different Conveyancing companies over the last 3 years. And I decided to give Francis & Torrens a try for the sale of my property in April 2021.
As a professional who works with companies in the service industry on a daily basis; I don't take this review lightly.
This was a very bad experience, far below what is expected and required. They are unresponsive, no attention to detail, and when contacting them over the phone at times simply rude (Madeleine at reception). Would not suggest anybody engages Francis & Torrens Conveyancing. There is way better out there

This business has no issue representing a lying vendor and washes their hands of the issues. Vendor did not pay building insurance but this business and the vendor claims it was paid, yet they cannot produce proof of payment to support their claims. As a result the insurance company short-termed policy based on missing payment. They knowingly used a misleading certificate of insurance to steal money.
