With our society getting older, and more and more baby boomers moving into retirement, demand is increasing for aged care and seniors facilities. The design for aged care and seniors facilities has changed over the last decade, with design briefs moving from the traditional medical or hospital type facility to designs of a more residential and hospitality design.
From our first meetings, Morag listened very intently to the brief and concepts I had in mind, and grasped exactly what I wanted. She was insistent that I be part of the whole concept & design process from our first meeting. Zinc on Darby located in one of Newcastle's major restaurant precincts. The owner wanted a light refurbishment; it had good bones and we needed to add another layer to the story to make it come to life again.

Residential and Commercial Renovations.
We have used Flourish for both commercial and residential renovations and the work is always excellent. Morag will help you make decisions that are not based on trends but on classic design and great taste.
Very good rates, timely communication and a good understanding of how to work efficiently with trades. We highly recommend this business.

My experience with Morag was overall very disappointing and she turned out to be an extremely unprofessional and untrustworthy person.
Positive points: Initially, she had a very friendly manner. The (limited) furniture choices we selected together are lovely and of great quality.
Negative points: 1. She owed me a refund for some expensive items due to her own ordering errors, but instead kept the money as fees for herself and claimed that her work was complete for my job, even though she had only actually done 60% of the agreed job tasks, at best.
2. She claimed to get ‘trade prices’ and

Morag and her Flourish team were responsive to the needs of refurbishing patient rooms within a hospital setting. Morag gave me suggestions around fabric choice which was attractive as well as withstanding use in a clinical setting. In a hospital it is impossible to predict the availability of rooms, the team worked with me to get the job done professionally and as prompt as possible in a fluctuating environment.

In need of a “mini-refurb” in our Hotel, I approached Morag to assist us in breathing some new life back into The George.
We were after a look that complimented our new menu style and help to bring a bit more mood and warmth into our Bistro, Bistro Courtyard, Function Room and Bar Lounge. Our brief also had a clear budget.
Morag provided us with… her honest opinion and delivered some great ideas from her first visit. She was very aware of our budget and worked within those limits – even when I tried to break the rules.
