Services
Dr Lyndall offers services in all areas of general practice, but has particular interest in: Women's health - contraception. Dr Melissa Fry holds her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and has done additional training in Mirena Insertions and removal. Dr Sinead Jennings graduated from Trinity College, Dublin in 2009, and went on to complete her specialist training in General Practice in Ireland.
Our doctors can only provide prescriptions or specialist referrals at the time of consultation, please be advised that due to a duty of care the doctors are unable to provide either of these items by telephone request if you have not attended the clinic within the past 2 months. Agreement to issue a repeat prescription without consultation will not automatically mean this will be repeated at the next request.
Antenatal Share Care - In Australia, the health system allows for three models of care: Midwifery care, GP shared care and Private Obstetrician care. If you are planning to deliver in a private hospital you will need to be referred to a private obstetrician. Our GPs are experienced in providing 'shared care' for women with uncomplicated pregnancies in the public hospital system.
It is unlikely that we would delay treating a chronic medical condition such as high blood pressure or Asthma. However, when we feel unhappy, anxious, stressed or unmotivated one can often feel that waiting or toughing it out is the right solution. Seeking mental health treatment can be necessary to heal and help avoid prolonged suffering.
Each and every person who enters our practice is now required to undergo the Doorstep Screening Process. We appreciate this is unfamiliar and unprecedented and ask that you respect this process in order for us to provide as safe an environment for all as possible. Would give them 10 stars if I could. The reception team are always so friendly and welcoming. Dr Lyndall is outstanding at what she does and really takes the time to listen to your concerns and provide the appropriate advice for what you need.

I have attended this clinic a few times but was shocked on my last visit when I was charged for a pathology test I did not request and did not need. I received no support from the clinic manager to help rectify the situation. I do not feel I can trust the doctors here when they fail to check my medical history properly and do not inform me of any potential charges. Under the Competition and Consumer Act, members of the medical profession must take care not to mislead patients relating to fees. This is not a clinic to be trusted.

I have tried this clinic time and time again, and I do not know why I bother. $140 to see a doctor for less than 20 minutes, and an irritated response because of my own personal choice to not use the contraception pill to mask PCOS symptoms. Very upset. I have seen better public doctors

I have been going to this clinic for years now but not actually sure why as each time I go I come out disappointed. I have had Bianca tell me I am overweight when I wear size 12 and was also not seeing her for my weight to now being told by a new doctor who had no idea tell me she really didn't want do something that I asked her to do. Not only that I asked advise on a condition I have been worried about and she said she had no idea what to do about it and couldn't suggest anything. I gave her an idea and she said as she was new to Brisbane she would need to look into it and would let me know in

Great service from the receptionist! And lovely doctors. Although they are never in and always cancelling appointments on you. Have spent 2-3 weeks trying to see my doctor that I have been trying to use for months and have had over 10 appointments cancelled on me! Would not recommend for pregnant women or someone looking for a reliable doctor! Great for seeing someone different every appointment just not for a reliable doctor. Such a shame too.

For a year I suffered illness and pain that stumped many doctors and specialists, whose best diagnosis was that it was some kind of mystery auto-immune illness and I would have to learn to live with it.. I really wanted the advice of a female doctor with plenty of general experience in women's health (rather than a specialty), which is how I discovered this clinic. The first doctor I saw was helpful and sympathetic. However, the second doctor was extremely thorough and discovered the source of my medical complaints. I first went to Healthy Women Medical Centre because I was having lady issues that I wasn't comfortable talking to my male doctor about. I found the administration staff to be very lovely and comforting. Then I met Dr Karen Shaw and found her to be so easy to talk to and very understanding of what I was going through. We talked about all sorts of things and I told her that I was also worried about my husbands health. She encouraged me to make an appointment for him. We haven't looked back.
