If you guys are looking for a College to go for Esthetician and Spa Management I suggest not Humber. Although there are amazing teachers within this program overall It's not coordinated.
Teacher and Manager didn't know how to answer my concerns and just say why didn't I addressed this earlier even though I raised concerns about it 3 weeks in advance.
Teacher and Dean choose not to answer my question and repeat the same sentence that isn't even the concern. Clearly shows the Dean didn't even read my email properly and just agreed with his faculty.
You can just see all the low stars for this school

I graduated in 1979 from Hydrographic Surveying at Humber College. I got a job right away in Calgary. I was transferred to Vancouver in 1984 and got another job with BC Tel in 1992. I was able to buy and pay off my condo, and retire at 60. I believe I live in the most beautiful city in Canada. Many thanks to Humber College, I could not have done so well without them.

I don't usually make reviews, but I have officially had the worst experience with Humber. I have had difficulty after difficulty applying and dropping my program I was in and even after dropping my course, financial aid messed up my OSAP application after "miscommunication". Each person I have contacted has told me multiple different steps and things I need to be doing, each having more issues added to it. At one point, one of the workers was argumentative and dismissive towards me over the phone. Very happy to be attending another school.

Promises were made, promises were not respected. Humber probably thinks we students (especially internationals) are here for our wallets only - pay the money, but education is optional. Not a care in the world. Worst costumer service EVER. If you wanna feel alone, unimportant, and that nobody cares about you, go to Humber. Otherwise, I would look into other colleges that actually provide their students with solutions, safety and MOST IMPORTANT, 100% EDUCATION. Waste of money and 1.5 years of my life.

Stay away from Humber College! They lie, cheat and steal from their most valuable assets, students. They don’t care about our safety or mental health. They refuse to listen to thousands of students comments, concerns and questions about a safe return to the campus. It’s absolutely unbelievable and stressful. We have to choose risking our physical and mental health or find a different college to attend. That’s the option they gave us. Completely unacceptable!!!

A few weeks ago, I would have given the school a much better rating, but they decided to give us two months notice before going back to in person learning. 2 months, during the holiday season and finals for people to find housing, rearrange jobs, childcare (if you have kids) and so on. While all other colleges are offering hybrid or some sort of choice, Humber decided to go the route of pretending like the pandemic is fully over as we enter flu season 🙄

Inclusiveness is probably the best thing about Humber college. The teaching is below average and so are food options. The students union Ignite is a complete rip off. I had a teacher that couldn't even speak proper English and she was responsible for teaching us an accounting course in the lab. And the instructions were to be given in English as per the syllabus.

The school doesn't care about its students and is only motivated by money. The only constant you can rely on when you're at Humber is that the student will be screwed over if possible. The school will consistently make decisions that will affect your experience negatively. They call themselves an Institute of Technology but constantly fail to live up to this. Registration is always a mess because they never plan adequately and it ends up crashing. You won't be able to know which classes/timeslots you can register for until it's too late. The school won't even provide the option of hybrid course

Went to school for three years in the Electronics Engineering Technology program.
Honestly, not a bad school to go too.
Yes there are some difficulties especially with just funding for my program because higher ups are more focused on mechanical engineering and such so there is a bit of a challenge that way, they didn’t seem to really care about us electronic folks as much as they did the other engineering programs.
But I did feel like mostly everything I learned was useful, I use it day to day now in my current position. The curriculum could use some tweaks in regards to more updated classes
