Nourish Naturally handmade soaps are all made in small batches using the cold process method. The cold process method of soapmaking creates a mild natural soap that retains the natural glycerin.
Glycerin is a biproduct of commercial soapmaking and generally removed. It is a humectant (attracts moisture to the skin). It's this natural glycerin in our handmade soaps that help to keep your skin soft and pampered. We also offer many other products on our site, including specialty face creams, exfoliating body scrubs, bath salts, lotions and Straddie Zinc cream.

After encouragement from family and friends Nourish Naturally was born. I started selling soap at the local Market as well as initially travelling to Cleveland for their Sunday Markets. In 2012 I undertook some libarary studies and undertook an assignment on Natural Soap versus Synthetic. This made me even more determined to make sure that my products were made with all natural ingredients.

Simply put, these products are excellent. I use a variety of the soaps to maintain an itch free skin after many years of suffering from psoriasis. Whilst I now use a medical injection to combat the major effects of psoriasis, the Shey butter moisturiser kept me sane for 8-10 years by reducing the scabbing and flaking then subsequent itch. No its not a cure but it definitely has a soothing and lasting effect. I'm no scientist, but the products must be natural because chemical based products give my skin hell.

We have had The Friendly Chat B&B at Thorneside for over 4 years now, and during that time we have used Nourish Naturally soaps. We try and use as many natural products as we can in the B&B and have found these soaps fit the bill perfectly. There are often new creations to try,and they last so well!
