Living In Shade is the key to living in comfort in climates such as Australia, particularly in summer! We are all experiencing summers that are getting hotter and longer and require a emphasis on building design that incorporates external sun shading. The shading of windows and glazed openings on the east and west, are most effectively achieved with vertical external shading solutions.
We have had 2 x Alfresko Awnings and a 1 x Pivot Arm Awning built and installed by Living in Shade and they are brilliant. The quality and finish is great, they look beautiful and work perfectly. Graeme at Living In Shade just completed installing our 'Alfresko Slide Wire Awning' and it looks absolutely amazing! Graeme's attention to detail was outstanding and this specialized awning has elevated our outdoor space around the pool to the next level. Being motorised, with a touch of a button the awning stretches out over the entire deck and spa area and also over a section of the swimming pool giving us close to 100% UV protection, and in the evening when the sun has set the awning retracts in minutes giving us an unencumbered view of the stars while we enjoy our spa. I recently had an extension to an elevated deck screens and blinds added throughout my new home. The price was competitive, the work was completed quickly and efficiently, including design, carpentry work and painting. The clean up was excellent.It was so good to have all the work done so efficiently by Graeme
