Having moved from Victoria to Queensland to take over the beautiful restaurant Kingston House for 3 years, renowned chef Michael Hehir built and operated the very successful Spanish inspired tapas and wine bar - Capelli on Duke, in 2009. He was awarded a 15/20 in 2012 by the Brisbane Times, Good Food Guide.

Michael recently catered an event for us, the food was AMAZING!!! He made the whole process very easy and was extra accommodating to our needs. The night was relaxed and the staff super friendly. Would absolutely recommend for those that want to be spoilt by super tasty food, easy communication and friendly professional customer service!

Michael and his team cooked for our recent elopement dinner. The food was amazing and the portion sizes were much bigger than a 5 star restaurant. We were so happy with the service and so glad he was part of our special day. We will definitely be booking Capelli Foods for our next event.

We had the privilege of having personal chef, joyful, humble Pierre and waiter extraordinaire, Callum prepare a feast for our daughters 40th on the weekend, at our holiday home at Marcoola, and all we can say is WOW!!! What a wonderful experience for our party of 11 - a real treat for the 'foodie' birthday girl, who loved EVERY delicious morsel of Pierre's creations! She was thrilled to bits, as it was a surprise and Michael, your team didn't fail to deliver! Absolutely nailed it & made us look really good!!

I have previously had Mick’s food, so was familiar with the quality, however decided to try his take home packs for a special occasion. I was not disappointed! 4 courses all fantastic, and Mick couple have been more helpful when dealing with him. Whether it’s a catered function when restrictions are lifted, or a take home meal like we had today, I’d highly recommend Capelli Foods. Gympie and the Sunshine Coast are very lucky to have a local chef of Mick’s quality.

We had personal chef (Cody) come and cook an amazing banquet style dinner for a special birthday dinner for 12 last Friday night. Everyone was so impressed with the presentation and deliciousness of the food. Cody was very professional, organised, polite and unassuming. We could not have asked for any more from Michael and his team. I would highly recommend Capelli Foods.

Wow - how fantastic is Capelli Foods - we had Michael and Abby in to cater for my wife's 60th birthday party last Saturday night - what a fabulous job they both did. They prepared canapés, entree, main and arranged the most beautiful birthday cake from Dessert Architects. Nothing was too much trouble and they left the kitchen in an immaculate condition which left us minimal clean up. I cannot recommend Capelli Foods highly enough and would happily choose them again for my next function. Well done team.
