The Ayr Traveller's Motel has just been refurbished and it was a delight to stay in one of their lovely, comfortable rooms. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The Restaurant was wonderful too with delicious food and great service.
I would thoroughly recommend The Ayr Traveller's Motel to any visitors to the area.

Probably the worst 4 star hotel I’ve stayed at. The rooms appear tidy at first glance but with a closer look the walls are dirty/stained and the carpet needs a good clean.
Paying $140 a night you’d expect your tea and coffee to be replenished daily with clean cups, but not once did they manage to do it over a five night stay. The fridge is tiny, less than half the size of a bar fridge, so don’t buy too many products that need refrigeration. Lastly, the bathroom is poorly designed and water gets everywhere over the floor, which is unpleasant.
Average at best, it’s really just a basic place
