John is the principal and director of Geoform Design Architects, which he founded in 2004. Prior to that, he was director of Geoform Design which he founded in 1986. He started his architectural journey working in the Government Architect Office in Athens whilst still at UNSW and continued in Sydney upon his return with JCTW and Neville Gruzman OA, where he was finally introduced to the love of intelligent design with emotional restraint that is unapologetic in its creating a sense of wonder + joy for its occupants.

John has been a pleasure to work with. His clever design, excellent use of space, innovative ideas is paramount to our newly built home. The heritage conservation area is always difficult to navigate when lodging a DA. John's input was tremendously appreciated and the way he and the team in handling and responding to Council's questions were professional and timely.

We have used Geoform ongoing since July 2020 and have found them ignorant of current regulations which resulted in us perusing a project with poor prospects of success. Their charges were non-transparent and unconscionable, charging us about ten times more than what we had paid for similar work in the past. Our job was palmed off to a draftsman and we were given minimal useful architectural Input. Geoform were inefficient, they failed to divulge critical information to us so that they could continue to charge us. At best they indulge their own hobbies, at worst they used us as a cash cow.
