Santosha Yoga Australia
Santosha Yoga Australia is based in Kingston and Kettering, Tasmania. We offer yoga to suit all bodies: it doesn't matter if you are fit or not, flexible or not, a beginner or experienced yoga student. Yoga can help you reduce stress, build strength and flexibility, and improve your overall health and wellbeing.

Santosha Yoga Australia helps you find an escape from the rush and pressure of everyday life through the practice of yoga, breath work (pranayama) and meditation. We help you slow down, find calmness and connect to your Self. Santosha (pronounced san-toe-sha) is the Sanskrit word for contentment. It is our belief that the practice of contentment, gratitude and acceptance are the keys to finding happiness from within.

Join us for a weekend retreat, held at the Bolthole in breath taking Pirates Bay. You do not need to be a regular yoga or meditation student to enjoy these wonderful weekend retreats. You want to escape from "busyness" and to incorporate rest, relaxation and self care into your routine. You would like a weekend break that balances time in nature with activities that focus on your well being.
If you've made it here, then I am guessing that you already know you want to go on a yoga retreat. You know that a weekend retreat will do wonders for your body, heart and mind. And that it would be even better if you could take all of your best friends with you. But perhaps you can't find one that's running at the right time, or in the location you have your heart set on?
Private Yoga sessions are tailored to your needs. We discuss in advance what you want to get out of the session, and from there I design a custom plan to meet those objectives. Any style or a mix of styles can be incorporated - Gentle, Vinyasa, Yin, or Restorative yoga - or meditation as well. A private yoga session doesn't have to be one-on-one.
I have thoroughly enjoyed and been challenged during Danielle's yoga classes. She has the ability to gently correct a posture if there is a risk of injury and is encouraging and supportive to the variety of abilities her yogis present. Danielle's choice of music has been therapeutic as well. I've been reminded that yoga is a journey and it's ok to 'fall out' and to laugh at yourself.

I've been training with Santosha twice a week for 2mths now, and Danielle's classes are the highlight of my week! They are the perfect balance of strength, flexibility, breath work, and meditation. I've noticed amazing results with my upper body strength, muscle tone, and core. Danielle's classes provide opportunity to grow & develop postures, and leave me feeling calm & energised. I look forward to every class!! Highly recommend.

I love Dani's yoga. Her teaching style is calm, intuitive, flexible - depending on the classes needs, and above all, welcoming.
I always enjoy the mix of active and static poses, and the energy and relaxation that I feel as I leave the class.
Can't recommend it highly enough!

I hadn't tried yoga seriously before until attending Dani's weekly classes - two years later and I'm practising regularly. Dani is a really patient and caring teacher. I love the way that each class is… different and that she's prepared to adapt her classes based on what people really need on the day and the insights she's uncovered during the week - she always has something interesting to share. I'd really recommend her as a teacher. Oh, and thank you for introducing me to yin!

I've had 3 knee operations and never tried yoga before. Dani's accessible and friendly teaching style meant that I got so much from her classes. Better flexibility, feeling stronger and more relaxed. Regardless… of previous existing ailments or injuries, Dani structures her classes in a way that everyone can feel the benefits. I'd definitely recommend trying one of her classes and - like I did - keep coming back to feel the long-term benefits over time.
