The Jolly Miller story began in the early 1990s with a humble bakery patisserie in the small country town of Gisborne in Victoria's Macedon Ranges. The word soon spread and there are now Jolly Miller caf patisseries across the state offering quality barista made coffee, wholesome food and delicious pastries and the most delicious of homemade cakes.

Go to place for my latte before work, they have the best chai which comes in a pot and strainer like your traditional Indian chai with a modern twist.
The staff are all well trained, on there feet to ask if you have been assisted!! This is a well run business.
I would recommend the fish and chips!!! Great portion, very crispy and fresh.

Very bright and light-filled dessert cafe with an array of cake, ice cream, mousse and other dessert options available to choose from.
Sat outside on a late afternoon for some drinks and mousse. Staff responses were mixed, one staff member was incredibly friendly and hospitable whilst others were a bit indifferent.
The chocolate mousse was amazing, so fresh and delightful. Fresh juice and coffee was good too.

I can't really say anything all that bad about this place, though I have noticed that there are a few franchises around Melbourne meaning that it doesn't have that nice, family run feel that I like about a lot of small businesses. Still the staff were friendly enough, and they certainly made my tea the way I liked it, though they were a little slow. Mind you, they were also quite quick to serve me, which is another thing that puts me off because I like to spend some time getting a feel for the place before placing an order.
