Laura obtained her Bachelor of Dental Science from Trinity College in Dublin, graduating in 2002. From a young age Laura always knew she wanted to find a career that encompassed both her love of science with her creative talents. Dentistry appealed on many levels as it would also allow her to express her caring, compassionate nature.
If you've had an accident involving your teeth, the most important thing to do is remain calm. If you've sustained severe injuries that require medical attention, it is important to have these addressed first. You should then make an appointment with us as soon as possible. If it is a baby tooth, DO NOT put it back in the socket - this can cause damage to the adult tooth underneath the gum.
An implant involves placing a titanium "tooth root" into the bone. This is left in place for 2-3 months while the implant osseointegrates and fuses with the jaw. After this, a ceramic crown can be placed on top. We have invested in the latest modern equipment including digital imaging, in-house CT scanner, and use only the latest in implant technology to ensure the best possible result for you.
Gum disease (periodontitis) is the most common cause of tooth loss in people over the age of 30! If bone levels continue to recede, the teeth can become loose and eventually be lost. 1. Visit our Hygienists every 6 months for a professional clean - they can remove built-up plaque and calculus in areas that are impossible for you to clean yourself!

I don’t usually leave reviews. However, on this occasion I must. Fitzroy dental practice is absolutely amazing. The receptionist there is super friendly and knows how to make you feel welcomed. The Dentist and the team who attended to me were simply great. I would mention their names, but due to confidentiality I won’t. Overall if you are looking for a very reasonable price on cosmetic dental treatments then Fitzroy dental practice is the place. Furthermore, it is situated in a lovely location in London, between Tottenham Court Road and Great Portland Street.

My son was in hospital and I was with him. I suddenly developed toothache in what was a very stressful day. The last thing I needed was a toothache. I was looking for a nearby dentist surgery that could see me urgently as my regular dentist was not able to see me for 4 days. After my initial call, a dentist at Fitzroy were able to speak to me on the phone. They saw me 2 hours later. They then spent an hour evaluating and then fixing the issue. The team at Fitzroy Dental Practice is excellent. Everyone is courteous, professional with great attention to detail which creates a lovely environment. Dr Suchi is incredibly thorough, and has given me extensive detail regarding my treatment giving me confidence in the results. Raymond the receptionist is also so lovely and helps fit in appointments around my difficult schedule. I can’t recommend them enough!
