A boundary re-establishment survey is required when building near or on a boundary to ensure you are building within your lot boundaries. This may be for a new fence, brick wall or retaining wall or when constructing a garage or building. It is important not to assume your boundary fence line is the boundary, because in majority of cases this is not the case.
Each Local Authority imposes different conditions depending on the characteristics of your property, their Town Planning Scheme and Policies. It is important to contact your Local Authority prior to submitting a subdivision application so you are aware of any possible conditions. 7. I have just completed my first ever subdivision of the family home into 3 blocks and have been very impressed with Dion's professionalism. From getting the survey plans into council on the 6/6/2020 to having titles issued 18/11/2020 has been an incredible turn around!
