Our practice has been operating for over 25 years and have helped many members of the Browns Plains community get back on track with their health. Our team of qualified physiotherapists have a wide range of experience and areas of expertise. David graduated from the University of Queensland in 1984 with his Bachelor of Physiotherapy and has since completed his Masters degree in Sports Physiotherapy in 2000 at Griffith University.
David has worked at Princess Alexandra Hospital and also in Alberta, Canada before establishing Browns Plains Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Centre in 1994. David has over 35 years experience as a Physiotherapist and has special interest in all spinal conditions, sports injuries, shoulder and knee injuries.

Services
Physiotherapists are pivotal in returning patients back to their to their pre- injury state, particularly after fractures. After sustaining a fracture and your treating Physician has cleared you for Physiotherapy it is important to regain your range of motion, strength and function. Neck pain can be felt locally, but can also cause headaches, shoulder and pain down the arm. The majority of neck pain in the general population is caused by overloading combined with poor postures, but can also be caused by traumatic accident such as car accidents. Neck pain can have can be very frustrating and have significant impact on your quality of life, but it can be managed and resolved.
Assessment of sporting injuries soon after they occur is crucial as it allows us to develop the best management plan for the athlete, specific to their sport. Physiotherapist can diagnose sporting injuries and if required refer for medical imaging, to General practitioners & Sports Physicians or provide the correct braces if an injury needs to be immobilised.

We also have excellent relationships with local Doctors, Occupational Therapist & Case Managers and will liaise with them to facilitate your rehabilitation.
