Our owner, Jacques Saba, established his first workshop 34 years ago before opening a Melbourne workshop in 1986 in Mentone. In 2002, he started Exceltune in Sunshine, and we've been serving our community here for the past 18 years. All our technicians were trained in Australia and are duly qualified.
Throughout our many years of experience, and because we pay attention to you, our client, we understand what people want from their mechanic and service centre, and our mission is to be entirely unique and to deliver best in market service for all our customers. At ExcelTune, we believe in combining safety and reliability with performance. We offer dealer level service, chip tuning or remapping, and do our utmost to ensure optimum performance and risk-free driving. The microchip in your car's ECU (electronic control unit) contains a lookup table that informs the engine how to respond under specific conditions.

Jacques and the team at Exceltune are amazing to deal with, they’re the type of business that deserves to do well. From the initial inquiry right up until pick up the communication was excellent. I asked for a tune on my 2021 Skoda Kodiaq and boy did I get everything I wanted and more. Jacques ensured that I was happy with the end result even jumping in for a test drive. Great company, great service, highly recommend!

I've taken my Subaru XV to Exceltune twice now recently after a friend recommended them to me. Both times I've been very satisfied and impressed with their service, expertise, honesty, and integrity. The later two qualities seem to be a rarity in the automotive service industry these days, after my car previously had the wrong oil and battery put in it. Thankfully, Jacques and his team were able to address these issues before they became major problems in the future. I will definitely go back even though the location is not convenient to me.

I took my car here after a bad experience that i had somewhere else and jacque tuned my car and its runnin perfect. He is so professional and he knows what he is doin. My car gained so much power and torque and the pops and crackles sound awesome. Also the staff are super frindly and kind. i 100% recommed exeltune for any tuning that u need.

Can not thank the guys down at excel tune enough for the help and assistance of not just servicing in general but also the performance and tuning of my VW MK7R.
My car was previously tuned by another workshop, Can definitely say it does not compare to excel tunes work.

It's not often you leave a shop with such a smile. The RV's engine was way better than new. For the first time I was pushed back when I hit the gas! That extra power makes so much difference when you have 6,000KG. Before it was like a slug now I can keep up with the cars, again think of the weight the engine has to move. 100% Professional and they take the extra time to do it right first time which is rare to find. PS Tested on the freeway on the way home and while I won't put in writing let's just say parts of the speedo were used for the first time :)
