Voodoo Ink opened its doors in 1994 and from its humble beginnings, it has grown into one of the premier street tattoo shops in the iconic bayside suburb of St Kilda and beyond. Voodoo Ink's tattoo artists specialise in all styles of Modern and Traditional custom work and walk in tattooing. No job is too big or small for the friendly staff at Voodoo Ink! Here at Voodoo, we pride ourselves on offering our clientelle a broad range of tattoo styles by our talanted roster of artists. We cover Realism, Neo-traditional, Traditional, Japanese, Custom lettering and simple black work. Please go through our resident artists portfolios to see who would be best suited for your design.
Loz specialises in fineline, black and grey realism. From tiny projects to large scale pieces, animal portraits, scripts to florals. However she loves a splash of color every now and then. Loz is a custom artist who believes communication with the client is the ideal way to create your bespoke one off piece.
Please make sure you are well rested, hydrated and have eaten before your tattoo procedure. Please shower and wear comfortable clothing. We recommend bringing a bottle of water and something sweet in case you feel light headed. Our tattooers refuse the right to tattoo you if they feel you are somehow physically or mentally compromised.
Voodoo Ink is always on the lookout for new talent and full time and part time positions do become available. 100dollars for 10mn of work !!!
Not understanding knowing it's $ 160 an hour. They tell me yes it is true but there is a minimum in the prices. Having misunderstood I asked at this moment if it is to pay 100 dollars I prefer to finish it directly, also having arabesques to add, I was told that there was no more time to finish it today while I 'had surrendered but no worries to finish it next week. Never had any news despite my many emails and every time I went back to the store to ask !! are not right really disappointed and not cool! I regret not going elsewhere ! I would have

I honestly couldn’t think of going anywhere else for a tattoo! Belinda is absolutely incredible so friendly and made me feel so welcome, all the other tattooist are so easy going and friendly definitely makes it easier when your doing a long session taking your mind of the pain with easy and often hilarious conversations,
Coming from someone who’s often very anxious in situations like that I felt so at home.

Definitely my favourite shop in Melbourne with such an array of amazing artists who are all so friendly and helpful! I've gotten a few tattoos from a few different artists here and can't recommend them all enough. Their level of professionalism in making sure you're happy with what you're getting and the entire experience is outstanding. They have a great team vibe which makes the experience a little less painful and a lot more fun. All of my tattoos have healed fantastically and I can't wait to get some more!

I was visiting from California and knew I really wanted a tattoo as my souvenir. It was my last day in Melbourne and my uncle had brought me to visit St. Kilda to take the kids to Luna Park. I had tried several other tattoo places in Melbourne, but either they were closed or closed when their door said open which was odd. Anyways, I popped in to see if they could help me out with a quick small tattoo and they were very friendly and nice to me. I set up an appointment for that same day. I stumbled into Voodoo Ink way back in 2005 when I first moved to Melbourne. I'd parked myself in St Kilda (as many newcomers do) and was looking to get a walk-in tattoo done to kill a Saturday afternoon. The guy I spoke to was super enthused by the ideas I had (old-school OG swallows on my shoulders) and at that time, they were very open to walk ins.
