After a good look at multiple builders in the area we decided to go with Classic Homes Co who are local & willing to go above and beyond to make our dream home become a reality. Could not fault this company at all. We had a few things we wanted included which when we mentioned to other companies they could not do such as full off grid, septic, BAL rating needs and being out of town. Classic were more than happy to discuss and work with us to make sure everything was organised, and done properly. We found everyone was very friendly and easy to speak with from start to finish, even after handover

We built with Classic Homes in 2020.
We were delighted with the finish of our home, nothing was too much trouble.
From start to finish we were looked after by the amazing team, the knowledge they showed during the planning stage was first class.
The attention to detail by our site supervisor was amazing , the quality of the build is testament to that.

It has been two years since we were “handed” the keys to our unfinished home by Classic Homes Co without a garage door, flooring, or hot water. The site supervisor cried poor to us saying the staff won’t get paid if we didn’t pay the final payment which the bank refused to do because the house was incomplete. Two years of hell dealing with this company who six months ago also agreed to replace our septic due to improper installation and major structural damage and they have since tried to pay us off with a measly offer of $5,000. Amongst other things - The list goes on. Tradies not completing

As a carpenter builder myself I have never seen a less professional and poor finish to a mates build to date.
Seriously hate for anyone to put there money into this rubbish.
No way are there trades qualified .
Gives real tradesman a bad name. Today's date is 30/5/20 if removed il make sure to go further.

Where do I start? The workmanship and quality by the Classic Homes Co Ballarat trades is 3rd rate at best. I have looked at a number of another newbuilds in the Ballarat area and without a doubt Classic Homes is the bottom 10%. My home is incomplete and left with a number of Defects and issues. Only 30% of the ceiling insulation was completed and described by our NBN installer as "A 12 year old kid would have done alot better job". When this was raised to the Classic Supervisor they replied "we don't even look in the roof, they told me they had completed it" which pretty much sums up the lack of
