Please be aware of golfers in the group ahead when approaching the 14th green. If the green is not visible from the fairway, please allow ample time for the group ahead to putt out and clear the green. Membership is currently open in all categories and we invite you to join the friendliest club around. Use of the practice facilities (practice hole, chipping & putting greens, practice nets) at any time. For an additional fee, why not join our "Friday Golf Club"? This gives you the ability to play golf at anytime on a Friday in our 9 Hole Comp for only the cost of the comp fee.
From this early meeting the Woodford Golf Club came into being, albeit not at its current location. The original 9 hole course was located on land at the rear of the Caboolture Co-operative Association Ltd factory. The club continued at this location until 1942, when due to World War II it went into recess.
Saturdays - Ladies may play anywhere on the timesheet providing the Mens & Ladies games are compatible. The majority of our competitions are open to visitors from other clubs who hold a current handicap. Medal days are open to visitors, however an alternative trophy will be presented if a visitor wins the competition.
The Woodford Golf Club seeks to provide an opportunity for Junior members and potential members, regardless of their ability, to improve, learn, enjoy and respect all that the game of golf and the facilities the Club have to offer. By providing a fun and safe environment to gain skills and develop the values of honesty, respect, integrity, courtesy, responsibility & sportsmanship.
Game will be a 9 hole event. One stroke added to player's handicap for each losing game played. The player's handicap is halved if they win the competition. To qualify for end of year festivities a player must play a minimum 5 competition rounds during the year. Make sure you play 5 or more games during the year to qualify for the FREE end of year festivities; these include a dinner and drinks for you and your partner.
