Warrnambool Veterinary offers a range of educational and training opportunities for our dairy clients. From one on one staff training delivered on farm, our FarmChat seasonally specific workshops to our pioneering Herd Health Management Course, run annually since 1994, we will work with you and your team to ensure that you are kept abreast of the latest dairy industry research and methods.
Warrnambool Veterinary is at the forefront of student education and research. Each year, we host up to 60 students from the University of Melbourne and Charles Sturt University on their compulsory dairy clinicial rotations, as well as a number of local and international veterinary students undertaking elective clinical placements in dairy, equine and small animal medicine.
Since the commencement of their Veterinary Science program in 2005, Warrnambool Veterinary Clinic has been host to students from Charles Sturt University as they undertake their practical, clinical training in Dairy medicine.
Each year, up to 36 fourth and final year students attend placement at Warrnambool for three weeks of intensive practical experience, working alongside our experienced dairy clinicians during the busy calving and joining seasons.
