Services
Allviron is a wholly Australian owned company. The company was formed in 2003 to purchase the business and assets of Ausmalt Packaging, which had been operating in the flexible packaging market for approximately four years. In early 2008 we completed the acquisition of the shrink film and plain film division of Safepak Pty Ltd.
Allviron is at the forefront of biodegradable film production in Australia. Using the cornstarch based material (a renewable resource), Mater-Bi, Allviron can produce biodegradable and compostable collection bags. This cornstarch based bag is extensively used across Europe to collect food waste, from domestic and industrial sites, for composting.
More and more communities in Australia are introducing source separation systems for diverting food waste from landfill. Allviron makes bags using certified AS4736 material so you can be assured using our bags will conform to the industrial composting industry's requirements. Whether you need standard bin sizes such as 70, 120 or 240 litres or a custom size that suits your facility we can supply it.
Allviron was created to promote biodegradable plastics to the Australian market. Therefore our involvement in biodegradable plastics goes back to 2003 and during the last decade and a half we have been involved in many interesting projects from casket liners, slow release insecticide wraps, geo-matting and many more.
Allviron believes we are the only producer of flexible stake-able biodegradable tree guards in the world. They cost a little more than the poly version, however we believe once the risks of littering and collection and disposal are taken into consideration our tree guard's benefits reward the little extra cost.
