Services
The original Pacific Golf Club was bordered by Kessels and Logan Roads, Mount Gravatt opposite where Garden City Shopping Centre is now situated. In the January of that year, great Australian singer and stage star, Gladys Moncrieff, was invited to hit off the first tee of the nearly completed 9 hole course.
Pacific Golf Club has had two homes, one at Upper Mt Gravatt and the other at Carindale, both on Brisbane's southside. With the golfing boom of the sixties, Pacific really came of age. Today it is a dominant club with a championship course and a thriving membership. Pacific boasts a modern clubhouse, Club Pacific, with great facilities where members can be proud to bring their family and friends.
Buying golf clubs without a personal club fitting is like buying shoes without checking the size! At Pacific Golf Shop we offer a comprehensive service that sees you fitted with the perfect set of clubs. We have a wide range available at competitive prices. At Pacific Golf Club we provide an excellent corporate golf experience.
Pacific Golf Club is widely regarded as one of Queenslands truely wonderful golf courses. A fantastic, open and friendly establishment that loves nothing more than welcoming new players to the club. All visitors need to do is register and start booking. Each time you make a reservation you will receive an email confirming your tee time and payment receipt confirmation details.
Pacific Golf Club is one of Brisbane's premier golf clubs, nestled in the foothills of Carindale, only 15 minutes from the Brisbane CBD and the Brisbane Airport. The club offers a beautiful natural setting and a peaceful escape from the rush of the outside world, thus providing an ideal setting to unwind and play a relaxing game of golf on either the main 18 hole course or the 9 hole Par 3 course.

The course layout is great however that's where the positive ends. Course maintenance is poor and the clubhouse looks like it's about to fall apart.... needs money spent on facilities to justify the cost of playing there...

We come every Thursday night for trivia. The food varies greatly, sometimes it is ok, and others it is sadly lacking.

I called and spoke to Zoe on the 14th of June about a surprise 40th i was organising for my husband for the 16th of October. I booked in at the Aspects room and it was booked. Booked it in advance due to Covid and wanted to make sure a place was locked in. I called again a couple weeks later to get a run down on dinner meals n drinks packages for… 50- 60 ppl and pricing.
I called again another 2 or 3 weeks later wanting to book in dinner and drinks packages and get told that there was renovations going on around the date of my booking and that i wasnt going to be able to hold my party there

Lovely golf course in the city. Friendly staff in the pro shop. Played the back 9 where there was a reasonable number of water and sand traps. Pretty and walkable course. Lots of bird life!

A bit like a bad experience at a restaurant.
My recollections of Pacific GC. Good golf course & good facilities.
My gripe is about the pretensions of some of those that work there, the pro shop in particular…..maybe they are not there now.
I live 3km from Pacific & it would be the logical club to become a member of, BUT, the surly attitude of the club, based on my experience at Pacific would absolutely not want to be a part of.

Bad and rude service in the conference room. Loud noises from coming through when we had our seminar at the back. Front desk was welcoming and nice though.

Had lunch here today, Saturday afternoon, for my mother in laws birthday. There were no menus on the tables. Understandably, COVID times things are different however they could have been placed and sanitised. Pretty disappointed in the food and drinks. The ladies at the bar and the one taking our orders were lovely as well as the male manager. However, the food wasn’t great the chicken parmigiana had more batter than chicken and the medium rare steaks were more rare. The guys had beers, which were warm too.
Can’t fault the service staff, however the chef had complaints about his parmigiana

I've sporadically been here over the years. Pleasant visit tonight: Tuesday special (steak) was amazing value, and it looked like each night had a good deal. Drinks were also great value ($6.60 schooner). Service and Atmosphere also very good. 3 stars to meet expectations, +1 for exceeding them.
Will review again after a few more visits, and if consistent, go for all stars.

One of the best courses in SEQ. Cheap afternoon walking green fees, modern GPS carts and very well manicured fairways. There is also well placed hazards that will challenge the best of players.

Unfortunately, there is no zero star option otherwise I would be giving this to the events manager, Craig. Never in my life have we dealt with a man more unprofessional and more incompetent in their field of work. He does not facilitate events, he only creates obstacles. He is dishonest, advising that this club has never allowed functions to cater… for their own sweets when we have attended previous family and friend events here that has permitted this. Also, it contradicted what was initially told to us by his co-event manager. He cannot negotiate event management diplomatically and effectively

Lovely roast lunch today at the club when I said I didn't eat potatoes and could I have extra pumpkin they offered me steamed veges instead - one very happy customer.
We celebrated a 60th birthday party on the deck and it was excellent - we will be returning :)

The Pacific Golf Club was formed in 1937 at Kessels Road, Mt Gravatt, before relocating to its current site on Pine Mountain Road, Carindale, in 1964. The course has a colourful history and an excellent reputation, with an 18 hole championship course and 9 hole par 3 course.

There's an active junior golfing program and Pacific has been the venue for the Gary Player Junior Classic for the last 30 years.

Not a golfer myself, I have accompanied friends who've played and can say the clubhouse is very nice on a hot day.
