Over 40 years ago, back in 1974, Shieldguard was established by Alan and Wendy Robinson. From their home basement in Emerald, the company has progressed through premises in Brunswick, Malvern and Mont Albert, to its current base of the last 12 years in Mitcham.

We use quality fittings and a range of coatings to protect your investment for years to come. Security screen doors, security porch enclosures and security gates, all custom made only in robust steel and wrought iron. At Shieldguard we still manufacture our own products at our Melbourne based factory and showroom.

Our representative can show you a range of design options, fitting solutions, meshes, finishes and colour choices.
Shieldguard steel gates, sliding gates and fences are custom built to suit your requirements, this means you can have any design you like. We suggest you start with the designs here, if you require more options please look at the door designs as any of these can be built as steel gates specifically for you.
Manufactured from steel and wrought iron, they give a great appearance to any area fitting into new or existing style whilst providing safety and control functions. Our balustrades are hot dip galvanised and powder coated for best rust protection and long life. Installation by our company is included.
For many homes it makes more sense to enclose the porch rather than just fit a security door. This can create a larger secure area to enjoy, keep valuables or simply extend your useable space. Security Porch enclosures can create a beautiful addition to any home creating a new, bright airy area for the whole family to enjoy.
