Nairne Vet is a small animal veterinary clinic started by Dr's Cammy and Michael Woodworth. We are located on the main street of Nairne, just a short drive from Littlehampton and Mount Barker in the majestic Adelaide Hills. We provide plenty of off street parking for your dog's, cat's, rabbit's, ferret's or other companion's convenience.
If you need a quality, dedicated small animal vet in Mt Barker or surrounds, we are here for you. Our vets and nurses are highly skilled and experienced (previously having worked at a Mt Barker vet and also busy practices in the city and suburbs of Adelaide). Being a family owned and operated veterinary clinic we pride ourselves on our honesty, respect and loyalty.

Services
Everything we do here at Nairne Vet is built around principles. Whether they are social, family, religious or individual based, we all live by a set of rules that are important to us. Our values are integrity, respect, loyalty, and ambition, to have fun, be constructive and treat each other like equals.
Consults are a way to understand your pet's health. Often a sick pet is obvious but it takes a quality, experienced vet to uncover the meaning behind those more subtle symptoms. Trusting your vet is important. Michael, Cammy, Cale and Amy have built relationships over the years and see patients not only form Nairne but also Mount Barker, Littlehampton, Hahndorf, Stirling and even as far as Woodcroft.
Desexing has both health and behavioural benefits. These "routine" procedures require skilled surgeons, anaesthetic nurses and equipment just like any other surgery. Our procedures include IV catheter placement and fluids to help maintain blood pressure and allow immediate intervention in the unlikely event it is required.
Surgery is something every owner has concerns over. While no guarantees can be made, in this day and age anaesthetic risks are extremely low in healthy pets. We use the safest anaesthetic agents available, include IV fluids at no extra cost and use up to date medical equipment for monitoring your pet's vital signs.
Here at Nairne Vet we are lucky to be able to count on Cammy's skills to help your pet. She has completed her memberships in diagnostic imaging (X-Rays and Ultrasound) and her services have been utilised at various practices across Adelaide (including in Mount Barker, Old Reynella and Magill). Cammy can offer diagnostic ultrasounds for a variety of conditions including pregnancy diagnosis and abdominal examinations.

Their care and aftercare of my cat and mini schnauzer are exemplary. In addition I have taken an injured ringtail possum to them which they nursed and passed on the carers and also a lost dog for which they went out of their way to find the owner as the microchip details weren’t up to date. Thanks Nairne Vet Clinic! 🐾🐾

They are the best Vets I have used in the last 20 years. Recently my dog Penny was taken ill suddenly, and… sadly i lost her. The Vets advised me against very expensive treatment that most likely would not have benifited Penny. Penny left list world happy and being stroked.
cremation was arranged and with the ashes I received a paw print of Penny and a lovely hand written note from the Vet. i found it moving that they cared so much for a customer they knew would not be back.
i cannot express my thanks enough for the kindness show by the Vets and nurses over the years. Thank you

Can't say enough positive feedback about this clinic. They are all absolutely fantastic and really do care about their clients and their fur babies.
I avoid the Murray Bridge vet at all costs and happy to travel from murray Bridge whenever my fur babies need help. Michael is such a great vet and my boy and girl have taken so well to him.
I'm writing this now because it's 7:00pm and just received a follow up call making sure my boy was ok.
20/10 to the Nairne Vet Clinic 💙💚
