Edit: wrote this review before actually using the vehicle. I was happy with the customer service in terms of prompt attention etc (see below), and wanted to leave a nice review as they had made a donation to my friend's fundraiser. However, I have not been able to use my vehicle for over six months due to incorrect installation of oil filter, causing major oil leak and further engine damage. Merchant unwilling to accept any liability or cooperate. Currently pursuing reparations through QCAT.

Had not used a mobile mechanic before , called to make an inquiry and explained my issue which was met with a friendly conversation and quoted over the phone with an affordable price including call out.

Well worth calling this business if you need a mechanic. Well priced, honest, and professional. On top of that it is so much easier having a mechanic turn up to your house. Fair prices and they take the time to explain the issues, give good advice, and no hard sell. I will 100 percent be using them as my mechanics from now on, including for services, because my experience with two large dealers in Townsville is pretty poor compared to this business- particularly if you own a Captiva 😒. Try them out, you won’t regret it.

Very disappointing unfortunately. The mechanic attended 1 hour off schedule. Very overpriced (+$130) for an inspection that is normally free and then they ignored us/refused to let us book in when we wanted them to carry out their (+$400) quote. Not very professional sadly. They seem to pick and choose which customers they accommodate according to the other reviews so feel free to use this service at your own risk. We were left out of pocket and disappointed.

Never underestimate the value of the personal service only a small family run business can offer. Sandro was awesome, explaining the mechanical jargon simply for a laywoman like myself, and all with a friendly smile. Services provided are excellent. SLS Mobile Services have been servicing my vehicle for a number of years. Always very professional with ability to fault find concerns in no time.
