Hello, we are Polyweld Machinery. We sell, service and hire premium quality plastic welding equipment, tooling, accessories and consumables. Established in 2003, we have grown to become one of the most comprehensive and diverse suppliers to the plastic welding industry in Australia. In 2020, Polyweld Machinery is taking a bold new direction and renewing our product range with an array of technology from some of Europe's leading manufacturers.
Polyweld Machinery operates a dedicated workshop for the maintenance, repair and after sales care of all of our plastic welding machinery and tooling. The service arm of the Freeman Group of companies is Freeman Industries (formerly Bobway Electrics), which was established in 1983. The entity originally started as an electric motor winding business, which then progressed into the service of all electrical and power equipment.
For over 30 years, Caldertech have been pioneers in offering complete solutions for joining HDPE pipework for the water and gas industries. Founded and based in the UK, Caldertech now has a global presence and an international reputation for high quality and innovative products for the joining of plastic pipework.
Polyweld Machinery offers nationally accredited training courses in plastic welding techniques through our in-house training facilitator. Polymer Industries Australia Pty Ltd (PIA) provides nationally accredited training for PMBWELD301B butt-fusion welding, PMBWELD302B electrofusion welding, and PMBWELD309B extrusion welding techniques for PE, PP, PVC plastics and socket welding.
Polyweld Machinery provides NATA accredited weld testing services through our in-house testing laboratory operated by our partner Pipetest Australia. Pipetest Australia Pty Ltd specialises in material testing in the engineering field of polyethylene (HDPE) pipe, fittings, and structural and pressure piping in steel and composites.
