Chinese medicine is a system of diagnosis and healthcare approaches, which originated in China over 5000 years ago. Bao An Tang Chinese Medicine Centre is a traditional Chinese Medical clinic in Abbotsford. Bao An Tang translates as the "healing temple" and it was the first Traditional Chinese Medical clinic in Chinatown, established in 1983 by Dr Chan Hoa Duong.

Dr. Kevin Duong is nationally registered under the Chinese Medicine Registration Board of Australia which is supported and regulated under Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). He is a member of the Federation of Chinese Medicine & Acupuncture Societies of Australia Ltd (FCMA), a reliable professional organisation representing Chinese Medicine practitioners.

The closest train station is North Richmond and you can get to us with tram 12 or 109 and get of at Stop 21 (Church St). There are metered parking along Victoria St (clear zone starting from 4.30pm), and both metered and unmetered parking on Church St and Albert St.
Yes currently all Chinese medicine & acupuncture practitioner have to register with Australian Chinese medicine Broad to be qualified in practice. In order to receive a safe and effective treatment. It is important to see a registered practitioner, (practitioner search can be search on the web side of Chinese medicine registration board).

At first I was unsure about Chinese Medicine until my wife took me Dr Kelvin Duong, he was very understanding and explained the various aspects of treatment, first with herbal medicine and cupping or acupuncture if necessary, didn’t enjoy the taste of Chinese medicine, but it worked wonders, recommend him highly.

I cannot recommend Bao An Tang enough. Dr Kevin and his team changed my life and have been continuing to keep me healthy since 2016. I tried every form of western medicine to no avail and was at my breaking point when I found this medicine centre. The staff are kind and incredibly talented. I have recommended Bao An Tang to everyone I know who has ever suffered with sleep or skin issues and will continue to do so. I am very grateful for everything Dr Kevin has done for me!

Dr. Kevin reassured me that I will be okay when I visited for a consult with the worst eczema and flare ups I’ve ever had in my entire life. Being hopeless and new to Melbourne from another country, I took his word and eventually witnessed the swelling decrease and the itch gradually subside. Definitely give his herbs and cream a try!

I have suffered with ezcema all my life and as I have got older it has gotten worse on my face. I was in a lot of pain and very depressed about it. Kevin was a miracle worker. So disappointed by Kevin’s irresponsible statements. My son suffered from chronic eczema and brought him to see Dr. Kevin hoping to drop combinations of cortisone, antibiotics, steroids medication. However, he had a worst ever side effect from his herbal tea as well as the cream so had to bring my son back after 8 days and had to purchase new batch of two weeks herbal tea. Over $500 spending on his medicine within 2weeks. Now three weeks in since started his medication as well as his cream, but my son is experiencing worst ever hives and flare ups all over his body. So much bleedings and dead

My son was suffering eczema since 4months old and I used lot of steroids didn’t helped at all. Dr Kevin gave us herbal cream and herbal wash worked like a miracle. I traveled all the way from Sydney to be treated for mild eczema, as I'd heard such great success stories from Dr Kevin's treatment. I was prescribed some herbal tea and topical ointment to help ease the condition and I was absolutely amazed by the results! I was so surprised to see my eczema fade over a couple of days and the itch subsided completely - I was even able to stop taking my daily anti-histamines.
