I travel for work a lot all over Qld, In Goondiwindi for 3 days and booked The Border Motel. I would stay in at least 2 motels a week and I am telling you all, I found a gem in The Border Motel, yes it's an older Motel rooms on the smaller side but the furnishings and love that has gone into this Motel is second to none. The bed and pillows are above and beyond anything I have found outside of Brisbane the service is brilliant and it's clean and also convenient to all amenities. I would highly recommend The Border Motel to any traveller coming or going through Goondiwindi!!

Stayed here on our long drive from Kyabram, Victoria to Sunshine Coast - we had a beautifully appointed room with a super comfy queen size bed and squishy pillows - bliss. The added bonus as far as hubby was concerned was the Smart TV so we could download Netflix (not being interested in the footy on TV). The decor was upmarket and they even had air freshener in the bathroom - win win :) It was a short walk to the 1st pub in Queensland where we enjoyed a nice meal - the young lady in reception was super friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend staying here. Keep up the good work.

AMAZING hotel. Stopped for a night to rest from a long drive, the staff were VERY friendly and accomodating. The reception decor was super cool as was the rooms. Had everything you needed. The receoptionist was even nice enough to put the heater on before I arrived so the room wasn't freezing. Big wine glasses for red at night and decent size mugs for tea in the morning. Highly reccommend.

The best bed so far, room on the small size, however still had all you needed, the added single perhaps took up too much room for the table and chairs. Packed so make sure you book in advance. On the main street so walking distance to the pub, shops, tourist attractions. Nice little coffee shop next door.

Beautifully styled little motel room that had the most lovely fragrance! Mattress, linen and pillows super comfy and bathroom nice and clean. Lady at front desk was lovely. A kitchen sink would be the only thing to make it better. Highly recommend, this is clearly a motel that the staff/owners are putting their best into.
