Services
Wyndarra Children's Centre values and embraces that every child is unique and important. We encourage each child to grow and learn in a fun and educational setting. We provide a warm, loving, nurturing learning environment that fosters the individual needs of each child linking families with our community.
In 2015, educators have been working closely with the early life foundation, and we have adapted the "Walker Learning Approach" to our planning and documentation. Children learn at their own rate, in their own time. Wyndarra Children's Centre uses and embeds developmentally appropriate practice as the foundation of all work with children.
Wyndarra's rooms cater to a wide range of pre-schoolers, from six (6) weeks to six (6) years of age. At Wyndarra Children's Centre, we believe children will learn through play, educators will provide open-ended play experiences and engage with the child to provoke thinking and investigating.
Our key learning play areas include: dramatic play, tinkering, sensory, construction, reading, collage, literacy resources, numeracy resources, painting/drawing, construction, carpentry, climbing, science and nature. The stage of the children's development would be considered in each learning environment within the centre.

Wyndarra's Babies' Room caters for babies from approximately six (6) weeks to eighteen (18) months of age. The play room has a large soft carpet area to accommodate for small play spaces for all children. This is to ensure that children have access to a variety of learning opportunities with comfort and one on one time with educators.
Wyndarra's Toddler room caters for children from approximately 16 months up to 2 to 2 years of age. The play room has a large wet area to allow for many different activities such as messy art, creative play and sensory experiences and small carpet mats to create small group learning environments to enhance learning for each individual child.
