Awesome little slice of paradise. Pleanty of amenties, and little shop has basic essentials.
Be aware, there is no fuel at Carnarvon Gorge, so make sure you fill up at Injune if coming from south or Springsure/ Rollestone if coming from north.
Bring food with you also, its a 2.5 hour drive to Emerald or Roma for nearest main shops.

One of the best holidays I had. We stayed 5 nights in one of the on suite tents for 5 guests. It was clean and comfortable. The tents are well separated from each other. There are 3 public kitchens with 2 bbqs and 4 gas stoves each. Also they have 3 sinks each. All the gas and water supplied by the resort. Plenty of tables and seats too.

Great campsite 5km from the entrance to Carnarvon Gorge. We had a camper in Echidna circle and used the good camp kitchen and toilets/showers. A fridge freezer would have improved the kitchen, but the explanation was that they were avoiding contamination, which is fair enough. The toilets by the platypus pool were clean and I didn't notice any smell. It's a shame people don't mop out the shower cubicle, as the mop is provided for this. The bar and reception were brilliant, although they have just started charging a surcharge on credit card payments. ( no charge for savings) Lots of info about the

This is campground has a great vibe and plenty of facilities.
We only spent 2 nights here so didn’t make use of everything on offer but the grounds and facilities are well maintained and there is everything you need - plenty of bbq facilities and big sinks for all you’re washing up. A number of toilet blocks, a small store and bar. The camp ground puts on a number of events that I’m sure you can read about on their website.
We had a tent and stayed in the macrozamia grove camping area. Our site was quite small but perfect for our 2 person set up. The sites here are very close together but

Amazing sites, plenty of shade and different sizes.
Clean amenities and plenty around the park.
Abundance of wildlife, echidnas, platypus, Wallabies.
Great little lookout for sunset.
Happy hour each day and a short informative video of the park and walks on the gorge.
The roast dinner was amazing and the staff knew a lot about the hikes, the near by cafe and French patisserie and helicopter flights.

The place is magical and the gorge is a must see destination. A well laid out set of campgrounds and cabins with plenty of room, camp kitchens and firepits. There are assorted wildlife wandering the site. Friendly reception and shop and all the staff we encountered were friendly It really deserves 5 stars except the toilet blocks were putrid and stank. When you looked beyond the dirty floors not cleaned up by inconsiderate fellow guests you see the grime of many months of little or no cleaning as per photos by another recent reviewer. The men's toilets appear to use waterless urinals yet they desperately
