We, Liz Heaton and Cameron MacGowan joined forces to bring Smyths inc. to you. We lead a talented group of hairdressers who embrace our salon ideology of bringing together creative stylists who we encouraged to explore, educate and expand their knowledge. Our salons are located in the most sought after areas of Noosa and reflect the environment we live in.
Our relationship with Goldwell spans nearly 3 decades, with continued education and dedication to giving our clients fabulous, 'talked about' colour. Goldwell colour ranges are exciting and caring at the same time. In the hands of our team we will lead you into the world of Goldwell colour, from subtle to 'out there', fabulous blondes to fiery red heads, gorgeous browns to a rainbow of colour courtesy of the Elumen range.
We are very experienced with wedding hair for Noosa brides and we are careful to listen to your ideas, guide you into wise styling decisions and. For us to guarantee your time with Smyths inc is a happy and stress-free part of your special day, we require you to ensure a few important details are met.
Our advice is that salt water and pool related chemicals can in some cases discolour and fade a new colour. It may also dehydrate the hair causing dryness. If it is necessary to swim, please rinse hair thoroughly afterwards and we recommend a leave-in spray conditioner to equalise the porosity. Keeping connected and up to date with current trends is so important to us.

Awesome experience, my wife kept telling me to get a real haircut (not from a barber 🤣) And I hate to admit it but she was right!!! Not rushed, they actually spoke to me about what I wanted and delivered - I… felt like a customer not a ticket with a number!!!!! I will definitely be a regular customer PS. I went in for a trim yesterday whilst on holidays and came out looking and feeling like a million dollars! Amanda really took the time to understand my hair and had some great suggestions to improve the style. I'm very happy with the cut. It is sitting really well, even with all the humidity. Also feeling a little bit chuffed that she even took a photo when she had finished - clearly very passionate about her work! Excellent, friendly service from both her and her colleague (Cameron?). I went to this salon while on holidays and after my regular hairdresser in Melbourne ruined by color. Amanda did an amazing job and fixed my hair color. My dry hair also got very soft and super shiny. weeks after i was till receiving complements from random people on my shiny hair. thanks very much Cameron and the Team!

Alex did such an amazing job on my hair today and I could not be happier with the result! She did a balayage that looks super natural with such clean, blonde colouring. I would like to give a huge thank you to Cameron who did my hair today (cut and colour) he went above and beyond my expectations, Cameron’s attention to detail was spot on! He really listened to my hair concerns and solved most of my problems, Cameron explained everything thing he was doing every step of the way! He even explained hair drying… techniques to me so I can achieve the same quality salon look at home! Absolutely incredibly talented hairdressers in a beautiful location along the river. Cameron has not only made my hair go from boring to vibrant blonde, but has also somehow resurrected what seemed like irreparable hair when I have (dumbly) decided to try dye it myself (lesson learnt). I'm in love with my hair now so thank you so much to the whole Smyths team for always providing a flawless experience.

I had been to Perth, Thailand and Brisbane over a period of 3 weeks and my hair felt like straw. I was having lunch with old friends and I couldn't bare to be seen in that state! I walked past Smyths Hairdressing and called in out of desperation to purchase a dry shampoo. The lovely lady in there sold me a beautiful dry shampoo which she offered to put in for me (sorry to her existing client who had to wait!). I was most impressed with the wonderful service and would definitely recommend anybody to go there.
