We had initially booked three rooms for the Christmas weekend but as an additional family member has now decided to join us on our trip as well, we called them directly today to ask if we could add another room to the booking.
However, not only were they not grateful for our patronage, the lady questioned what we were going to eat during our stay and whether we intended to cook in the motel rooms because “this is not like your country and we have rules here”.

During my working life over the last 16 years I have stayed in a lot of Country Motels across Victoria. By FAR the best .. cleanest as in romms and grounds is the Country City Motor Inn in Horsham. The Owner, Cheryl is a dream to talk to .. no requests too hard and will always have a laugh with you to make you feel at Home. I would not stay in any other Motel in Horsham. If I am working in Ararat .. I will still stay with Cheryl .. the rooms are worth it ......

This is a centrally located motel and is handy to the town and to the many restuarants snd eateries. The rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean and comfortable and beautifully decorated. The owner is lovely and extremely welcoming and hospitable. All rooms are at ground level for easy access with car parking in front of the rooms. A beautiful sparkling clear pool completes the pleasant outdoor sitting area. Highly recommended.
