Colonists call guru bung dhaura Westlake and it is between Yarralumla and Lake Burley Griffin. These images is a body of work I am creating exploring the 'spaces' people lived: the original landowners the Ngunnawal and Ngambri people and the native fauna and then the itinerant settler workers that came and lived in temporary huts whilst they built Canberra.
